Our current left back scouting list is
Milos Kerkez
Rayan Ait Nouri
Antonee Robinson
Alvaro Carreras
Alejandro Grimaldo
Theo Hernandez
Miguel Gutierrez
Apparently there’s a split between Kerkez and Robinson in the scouting dept and some staff think Carreras is the better option
There’s also a thought that if we do go for Frimpong that we will go for Hincapie or Hato as a left back hybrid instead.

Kerkez and Frimpong would be very attack minded but would be fierce in a high press system.

Don't understand the Robinson rumours at all. Average player any time I have watched him. Not sold on Kerkez either but at least he has youth on his side.

hello Bmena-red, Kerkez will surely be a lot better than Robbo and the Greek are currently and pretty much all season.
Robbo and Greek out 25 million, Kerkez and Hato in 75 million, two potential young top class players in for circa 50 million is pretty good business i would say in todays climate. Hato looks like he could play DM/ CB if needs be also.

Deal 007, make it happen. No excuses!
08 May 2025 23:19:37
Robinson done very well against Salah in our matches against them. I think Salah has said he was very impressed by Robinson.
08 May 2025 23:29:24
007. Not against those moves at all, but I don't see both coming in unless Hato is seen to be Virgil's successor.
Kerkez may well turn out to be a star signing but I just have my doubts. I would prefer Hato as he appears less one dimensional and offers more versatility. but only my opinion of course.

The club will make a move for Hato.
09 May 2025 05:35:00
7 players are still an option for a position we have need filling tor over 12 months? I know we struggle to make firm decisions but this seems far fetched even by our standards.
09 May 2025 07:15:14
I really like the look of Hato. Hopefully Grav and VVD can help convince him to join if we make a bid for him.
If you believe the rumours, arsenal and Chelsea are also interested.
Surely on the back of a title win and the fact that he would be able to make the position his own as first choice if he performs would be a more attractive offer than those two clubs?
Arsenal have Calafiori and what seems like another dozen centre back/ fullback hybrids in their squad. Whereas Chelsea are a mess still and might not get CL football next season.

Robinson done against Salah but so did Neco Williams ?.
09 May 2025 07:26:07
@Mark, there are seven potential targets if you chose to believe the OO’s unsubstantiated list of rumours. There’s no reason to believe the contents of the list - this is just a (poorly informed) rumours site after all.

I honestly can't see any scenario where Robinson or Hernandez come to Liverpool, unless we have changed our recruitment model.
09 May 2025 09:54:29
Unless Hato is 7ft, he won't pass Viktors minimal height for a CB test. He could always change careers and be an air hostess though.
09 May 2025 11:32:06
Gutierrez is on the list despite being at Girona and City Group? Surely the supposed scouts should know that's a non-starter?
09 May 2025 11:58:54
Are t we looking at Cambiasso of Juve also.
09 May 2025 13:44:13
I'm very much impressed by Kerkez, the way he plays. He will be very good at Liverpool.
Some fan say Robinson played very well against Salah. My question is, will he be playing against Salah if we buy him?
09 May 2025 13:44:25
Anyone saying Robinson is average doesn't know what their talking about (anti American player bias perhaps? ) . He is one the best Left Backs in the EPL. Saying that is he right for LFC? Probably not at 28 years old this year.
09 May 2025 14:09:26
Du cuyper should be in this list as Liverpool scouts have been spotted watching him numerous times this season. He also fits the fsg model more.

Kaiser i don’t care where players come from but i do think Robinson is vastly overrated his work rate is and running power is first class but he gives the ball away far to often for my liking with simple passes. He reminds me of Jota in that way so massive no no from me I would rather Owen beck be given a chance that spending the reported £50m mark talked about Robinson.
