According to our old friend the interweb he is 184cms which roughly translates to 6 feet 2 1/ 2 inches, in old money (as my nan used to say) . Probably a big hillock, rather than a mountain.

Why do people assume a CB has to be a giant? Cambiasso, Carvalho and Puyol are 3 of the best CB’s of all time and they were all 6ft or under. Murillo is an outstanding footballer and defender. He’s probably the only defender in the Prem other than Van Dijk capable of hitting an accurate 60 yard diagonal effortlessly (and repeatably) . He’s also one of the most aggressive and bullish players in the league. Height doesn’t directly correlate to quality or power. He’d be an exceptional signing to be quite honest.

Unless Dean Huijsen turns us down I don’t get why we would go for him. With the amount of work our squad is going to need he is going to cost a lot more and I think his ceiling is nowhere near as high. Forest play a completely different style of football to us so I think he would be a massive gamble.

Murillo would cost an absolute fortune to get out of Forest.
I am still hopeful it will be Dean Huijsen we bring in.
Other quality and attaintable CB shouts are Ousmane Diomande, Antonio Silva, Cristhian Mosquera and Giorgio Scalvini.

Konate could easily fetch us £35-£50m if he doesn't agree or want a new contract, time we learned to get tough and sell, stop leaving important players run down their contracts, Huijsen or Murillo would be good replacements, Hincapie also offers more variety and capability to play fullback and centre back equally well.

Ok i am not sure if we will get him I am just saying he is the primary CB target 100% confirmed.
We did talk to forest and now am told he is no1 priority so am guessing talks with forest were fruitful.
