I think we can safely say that Chiesa is not for the prem. He is to lightweight, got bullied all night and can’t strike a ball when needed. The gamble hasn’t worked so I hope we make a few quid on him and wish him well.

There are people on her who have wanted to Chiesa to start for months. Now there are people writing him off after one - not three or 6 or 12 - meaningless) game. It’s nice that we only deal in absolutes.

So he trained well last week then @Longthing? Based on your evaluation of the situation he must have trained well for Slot to pick him.
Then again, and based on Slot’s comments last week about Chiesa and the upcoming preseason, it seems that it might be worth a couple of bob on Chiesa being here next season. I reckon he might be a better bet to be here than Jota and definitely Nunez.
That said my original post was more about knee jerk reactions and how they do a 180 degree turn based on 1 game, rather than Chiesa’s career at Liverpool specifically.
