Why all the hate, Stevie G lifted our club on his back for years and only left when he was fading at the back end of his career.
Not everyone who is managing clubs knows it all or wins every week.
At least he is putting his reputation on the line and with a bit of luck learning the craft.
People have very short memories on here. It isn't like he is applying for a top job at a top club.

No disputing he’s was a great footballer.
No disputing he’s not the nicest of people.
No disputing, based on his past two management jobs, that he is average at best.
Granted he won the SPL with Rangers but that’s basically 50/ 50 as it’s just a two horse race between to average sides who would struggle to survive in the PL.
Not sure why anybody would think it’s hatred to be honest.

When gerrard won the SPL it wasn't exactly a 2 horse race. Celtic had won the previous 9 leagues and due to Rangers being relegated to the 3rd division during that time, Celtic had about 10 times the spending power of Rangers. He stopped Celtic winning 10 in a row which may not mean much to mist people but its massive to Rangers supporters. Rangers have not won the league since he left either, so saying it wasn't a big achievement not only winning it but doing it in an invincible season is a bit diminishing of what he achieved. he's a young man in terms of being a manager, let his career pan out before slating him, he deserves that from LFC supporters at least for everything he did for the club. I dread to think where we'd be if it wasn't for Gerrard.

Hope stevie succeeds as a manager not sure the championship is the right place maybe league 1 with good coaches around you and no pressure to succeed but a good place to try new ideas.

Boro would be ideal for stevie he may of been an excellent player but manager is completley diffrent and going to boro he will learn his management skills . I wish Stevie the best of luck if he takes the job YNWA.
