Good morning all. Ed001 a couple of questions if I may.
1)Are the club seriously interested in Fofana?
2)Is/ Could Doak be off to C. Palace?

With reignited interest from Barcelona for Diaz (due to Williams new deal), or even a move still possible to Saudi could you not see us moving this window. It seems if we don’t act this window he will move to a rival instead, and therefore cost much more in the future.

The club say Diaz is not for sale. I don’t see that changing unless an absolutely ridiculous bid comes in from Saudi; Barcelona and Bayern cannot afford or will not pay what it would take to tempt us. Slot clearly really likes Diaz, as he finished the season as our first choice CF.
I think after the devastating loss of Jota, we’ll only allow 1 forward to leave and I expect that will be Nunez. I think even Chiesa will stay now. Hopefully a Nunez x Osimhen swap deal can be worked out.

That would still allow funds for transfers in my opinion, so I believe they will try again for Diaz.

We might also see Bayern come back in with an improved offer for Diaz after Musiala's awful injury yesterday, I really hope we keep Doak but would he get any worthwhile game time to see if he is good enough?

Hopefully the club has insurance in place for Players when tragedy hits them
I do think they will look at Selling Nunez and a replacement for JOTA's spot. Could it be Etikike and Oshimen?

I believe Bayern did not make a bid, they simply inquired as to how much he would cost and were rebuffed.

Lyon may be forced to sell based on their current situation. They potentially need to raise 100m now and another 100m very shortly to try and avoid relegation.
If not, they will probably need to sell anyway being in a lower league.

Does finishing the season as 1st choice CF ahead of Jota and Nunez REALLY mean Slot really likes him? Been saying it for a while now my hunch is that Diaz will not be here next season and once he is replaced with a top younger player im alright with that.
