The Spanish news outlet has reported that Madrid are planning to make a €100million (£86.3m, $116.8m) bid for Liverpool midfielder Mac Allister.
The headline in the report has noted that new Madrid manager 'Xabi Alonso demands' the signing of Mac Allister following Los Blancos' 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

I know this is a rumour that keeps on appearing but from what Maca has said in interviews he really likes England and the weather (prefers cold) which is a bit of a difference with a lot of south American players who understandably yearn for the similar culture and language in Spain.
He also unlike a lot of other players has not explicitly stated that his dream is to play for Madrid or Barcelona and by all acounts from me just watching him and listening to him in interviews it seems like liverpool is somewhat his 'dream destination' so was Trents for a large part of his life so things obviously change but I would be very surprised if macalaster left anytime soon.

I seem to remember that it was expressed that Mac Would go to RM after a couple of seasons, I read (believe on here) that RM was to be his destination eventually.

Hatred for RM is clouding the judgement.
If they really come after him, it will be very difficult to keep hold like Couts. If they offer top drawer, why not? No one is untouchable.
We shuold be able to get better replacements at a lower fee.

You only need read the 'Alonso demands' bit to work out that this article is tosh. Real may well covet Alexis Mac, but Alonso is in no postion to demand such a purchase. He doesn't seem like that kind of bloke anyway. Doubt Florentino Perez would be terribly receptive if he was.

I know Macca is a class act but 100m euro makes no sense. Why are they apparently only trying to buy one leg? He’d fall over. It would make more sense to pay 200m for both legs. Real Madrid can FO!

@SamiKewell, Macca is untouchable mate.
If you asked me at the end of last season I would've said every player in our team is replaceable except for Salah, VVD, Ali, Macca and potentially Grav (he became indispensable and not many good CDMs available) .
Macca is one of the best versatile CMs in the world right now in my opinion and that's coupled by his attitude. He seems like a super humble guy, loved by his team mates and staff, and not the typical South American type always with an eye on RM or Barça.
Also if there are "better replacements at a lower fee" then why wouldn't RM go for one of them instead of Macca?
There is zero chance he's being sold. We're not selling our world-class players.
