Probably going to have to start all my posts now with "this ain't a joke" ??.
I'm told a further 3 signings will be made, if the right deal can be worked out. The players are YLFP, Guehi and Isak as well know.
Guehi was by all accounts preferring to go to Newcastle because of guaranteed first team football. With the lack of ability to attract players he has had 2nd thoughts. Chelski were never in for him.
YLFP really wants to play and learn alongside one of his idols in Virg, a deal is expected to be wrapped up soon for him.
As for Isak, you already know the script.

Is it just me reading the meltdowns about Isak today and being confused by the reaction? I don’t think it really changes anything. It is the stance they have had all summer and those providing updates on here have said all along that it will be difficult and Isak may need to force a move.

I'd definitely just relax about the Isak situation, I'm pretty sure it will happen. Eddie Howe is too honest for his own good and that presser this morning was not a good PR episode. Newcastle clearly scratching around panicking to get a couple of attacking players through the door in the next week. As soon as Wissa signs I think they will start the Isak deal in earnest. It will then move quickly.
