Palace want 50m, Liverpool don't want to go above 35m. Palace can't allow from a financial perspective the player to walk away for free. Parish maybe niavely has already shown his hand publicly and should have played it cool, he's worried times running out. Liverpool as the only suitors at present feel its a waiting game and know there in a strong position. Compromise will be required from both parties. Somewhere in the region of 40m with potential add ons.

That's a big blow if true, @Akira! They are so greedy when it comes to defenders. LFC won't enter a bidding war with them, but we have to get some experienced cover for CB. Any idea on other targets?
