I think by Tuesday we will know for sure. So many people on here even breaking down how the fee will be structured. £135m with 10 ad ons etc. doing my head in. My own 2p for what it's worth is the bad blood with player and club can not be gotten over. If he doesn't get the move, they will struggle with team spirit and EH will be left with one arm tied behind his back. This can only end badly for Eddie and Newcastle. It was entertaining at one point, it's not now. The sooner it's over the better for everybody.

That’s just a Newcastle jurno passing on info from the club because they don’t want to say he is going because that will put the price up on players they are looking to sign.

Ron I can’t see Isak playing for Newcastle ever again regardless of whether he’s there come Sept 2nd or not.
He knew exactly what he was doing with that statement. He called Newcastle liars and said he can’t continue any relationship with them because he doesn’t trust them. That’s pretty damning and impossible to backtrack on.
What would he say if he was to come back? You can bet your life Newcastle and their fans would demand some sort of public apology but anything he’d say would be empty words and would make him look like an absolute fool. He’s already accused them of lying and breaking his trust. You just can’t come back from that.
Like I said, he knew that by saying what he said it means he can never play for them again and he won’t. Forget the World Cup year thing, he’s going to World Cup regardless of whether he plays between now and January or not.
If he stays he’ll train on his own for 4 months and move in January for less money.
