Barring any late complications, Yan Diomande will sign for Liverpool this summer.

Tbh, the fee is not really my concern, it's not a buyers' market and there's a dearth of quality options out there, of which by some margin Diomande looks one of the best (am still gutted we didn't go for Semenyo because quite frankly he was a stand out player and would have been excellent for us). I don't think anyone could find another player who ticks all the same boxes in terms of pace, physicality, skill, output in terms of goals and assists, and his potential is extremely high, of course there'll be question marks over whether he can replicate it, but it's the same with any signing.
