lots of talk about lack of signings but in truth where do people see weakness in the squad and in what areas can we make space for a signing?
forwards - salah, mane, firmino, origi, brewster, duncan
attacking midfielders - shaqiri, ox, lallana elliot (wilson/kent)
midfield - fabinho,henderson, gini, milner, keita
central defenders - Van Dijk, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Philips, Berg
fullbacks - Trent, Robertson, Lewis, Hoever, Larouci, Clyne
Only in the fullback positions can i personally see signings made without moving at least some players on. It would also need to be a player happy to rotate in and out of games.
I personally think Dani Alves would be ideal for a season purely due to experience and how he could help Trent. He is on about 160k so that might be the issue (although free agent)

I can’t see Duncan getting first team action this year bar cups, nor Elliott. We are very lightweight once you get past Manè and Salah on the wings, particularly since Wilson is leaving. Lallana is unlikely to feature and will probably get injured in any event!

Personally I would sell both Kent and Wilson and sign a wide player that can play either side to replace them.

Dani Alves makes no sense when you have Gomez and Hoever able to fill in for TAA. Not at those wages which he is going to demand.

For 20-25m I would happily sell. Gomez, Matip, Fabinho if needs be. I personally think masterson and potentially den berg can slot in as adequate replacements.

Anonymush I appreciate Ed002 as well as the other Ed’s.
That being said to put it politely I am very skeptical regarding information. Especially info that would have to come from the horses mouth.
I have followed this site for years and log in everyday (often double digits) . I appreciate Ed002 has said it over a year ago (when Salah was at the peak of his power) . Don Ballon were saying the same thing at the same time. I take what they say with a pinch of salt and there is no evidence whatsoever suggesting it to be true. Every footballers head can be turned especially by £££. It’s the agents job to see what they can get, but that’s very different from actively seeking a move.

Respect to the Ed’s and what they post, but where have these Salah wants out reports come from? The only reports have come from Spanish media and that's typical of what real do. Try and unsettle players by putting things out in their media. Salah’s Agent has denied the rumours a number of times. in April when AS were claiming salah wants to join he posted “they are talking out of their ASâ€.
