I love Jurgen, and have always backed him; but I can't agree with his suggestions that we are on par with City until we had a man sent off, especially considering the hiding at Spurs.
We all never stop learning, and that applies to managers of football teams, as it does to every aspect of life, but he needs to grasp this league quickly or its curtains, and he's had enough time in my opinion.
Maybe the expectation from the fans and our impatience is wearing thin, and maybe it has burdened us as it has done for twenty years, but it doesn't stop us realistically dreaming of success, especially as the so-called best league in the world is as inconsistent as it is, and someone with the apparent ability and drive that he has, he should have exploited that earlier.
For the first time I have my reservation over our owners, which does make me feel a tad guilty, and I am struggling to comprehend whether this is the mentality of a 21st century glory-hunting supporter, or one of a self-titled fanatic who has been blinkered since the inception of their reign and tenure.
Time will tell I suppose.

Many will disagree, but he's the only one I would have faith with.

Milner is not a cdm he just runs around too much, need some discipline and some steel.

Milner doesn't really show much positional discipline when played at center mid, so I strongly suspect that wouldn't work. I get we need to change things, but Milner at defensive midfield ain't the answer.

Many were singing Milner's praises vs Maribor and I just laughed. I knew he would be found out vs better teams and I was not shocked.
OP, so putting a DM in front of the defence will suddenly make Migs stop making the useless mistakes he makes and stop putting the fear of our Lord into his defenders, right? Did not think so.

Maybe that's the problem he's always in a different position. Usually he's subbed before the 90 minutes. Personally I think he is a decent player but he just always seems to be injured. Would he improve our squad? Defo.

I can't belp but think that he preps the boys with Robinsons squash, gives them a quick rub down with tbai oil, places the cones in numerical order and mumbles on the sidelines to his manager concerning the weather, leg waxing procedures, their next night out and odds of a miserable, English monopoly of Murdoch journalists and agent spinning his next club as a continuation of a betting culture which he is totally unaware of (aside from attending in stealth mode wearing a Hugo Boss hat)

Redmist, none of your points are relevant to Liverpool's problems.
Its the manager who cannot adjust to teams sitting back against us, not the players.
If you had highlighted the words 'defence' and 'keeper' then possibly 'manager knows only one way to play', then I would tend to agree with you.
