And as far as I know Klopp has not signed players over 25 or 26 at Liverpool so it goes rather against the grain. The player has had many injury issues, would command higher wages than anyone else at the club at a time when money is very tight.}

Less common in Spain but both Spain and Barcelona do have long lists of players available. Not common in England and some clubs actively avoid it (such as Manchester United) - but you will certainly see more players being offered that way.}

Sorry if it's already been asked. reports today are saying that contracts for the new super league were signed last Saturday and are binding. is this information true. and if so it's seems there's no turning back now. thanks in advance.

Hi ed01 I would like to ask what are the clubs plans for joe hardy. he has recently returned form injury and has been scoring. is he highly thought of by the club. he is 22 now do you see h as one who could break into the first team.
{Ed001's Note - he was well-liked before his injury, so I would expect them to give him the rest of the season to prove himself before a decision is made. He is now reaching the point where he will either be sold or moved into the first team, possibly this summer even. The club will give him every chance to make it, so it really is up to the lad now. Decisions like this are almost always made at the end of the season, as the youth staff will sit down and decide which players they will keep hold of and that they want to continue working with then. That gives them the chance to review all the performances throughout the season.}

The club brought Joe Hardy on the back of injuries to front players and Duncan leaving. He came from an u23 background and was never bought for the first team. But players will nearly always get a chance if they are good enough.

Hi ed002 apologies if you have already answered this. i am after reading an interview JK done earlier today where he has repeated the clubs position on transfers by saying if we have money we will invest in the squad but unfortunately due to CV it looks unlikely. this is something you have informed us of since lockdown. my question to do ed002 is are club actively looking to bring anyone in or is it a case of someone prominent leaves they will be replaced. thanks as always for all your hard work.
{Ed002's Note - The club will have ideas for players if money becomes available but I would not expect them to buy just for the sake of it (has Shaqiri got an older brother they could look at). They have to buy to improve the squad - not pad the squad out.)
