Salah was not a proven premier league performer when we signed him. There will be plenty of others to replace him which is what the scouts get paid to do.
Salah has been vying for a move for the last 2/ 3 seasons because he wants ridiculous wages. The club should be not held to ransom.
We survived before Salah, we’ll survive after Salah.
If reports are true, which I doubt, then I’d sell him in the summer and wish him all the best.

3 games in and 7 points, not too bad in my opinion.
I personally would have started with Kostas, Jota and probably Kieta myself as they are more up to speed, but I don’t get paid the big bucks and hindsight is great.

Ed001, I agree it is a bad ‘professional foul’ when shown in slow motion, but I am of the opinion the red was shown for the player ignoring him.
If you look back at the foul the ref had his book in his hand with the yellow card facing up, after I think the third time he blew his whistle shouting the player over, he then switches his book over to the red card. Just my opinion, but I can see why the foul could have been a red card too.

If we pick them this weekend we will be fielding ineligible players which carries its own consequences.
Hopefully something will be sorted before the games.

I don’t understand why players can’t play 4 times in 15 days or 3 times a week. On average a football is only actually in play for less than 60 minutes.
This is a rubbish excuse and we need to just get on with it.
If we are having too many injuries then the training needs to be looked at, unless it is from a full on challenge.
