I think we only need 3 or so additions for the summer.

I'd take De ligt to partner vvd for potentially the next 10 years. Doucoure in the middle because I still love Hendo and were looking for someone to partner Keita. Then a left winger so no can go up top and mane back to the right to which I would take Bailey.

What are your thoughts people's?

I would let 2 go from Sturridge, Origi, Ings and Solanke. And hope that 1 from Wilson and Kent makes it to the first team squad. Making it 6 available forwards in total.

Same with the midfield. Let 2 go from Can, Lallana, and Milner (I hope Milner stays) and add Keita and a player to be purchased. Making it 6 available players for the midfield.

I would let Klavan and Moreno go, and add 1 LB and 1 CB, making it 7 available players for the back line (I do not believe Lovren and Matip are going anywhere, and it's too soon to shift Gomez to CB) .

And I would let Mignolet and Bogdan go and bring in a GK to play behind Karius and Ward. If Ward does leave, then I would bring in a GK and keep Bogdan for the 3rd spot.

2.) 12 Apr 2018 22:24:58
What vvd until he is 36?

3.) 12 Apr 2018 22:29:38
De Ligt.
Jorginho.
Lemar.
Martial.

4.) 12 Apr 2018 22:31:03
Where does Firmino fit in if Mo is up top?

5.) 13 Apr 2018 02:42:45
I broadly agree but do think we will try to get a right back in the summer who can help us push on, and to allow Gomez to move to CB.

6.) 13 Apr 2018 04:12:57
Agree with all that RA. Spot on.

7.) 13 Apr 2018 06:34:17
I agree with pretty much all of that except for not moving Gomez to CB. I think our main CB’s should be VVD Gomez Lovren and keep on of Klavan and Matip as back up. I know Gomez is young and has a lot to learn still but he looked solid at CB againts Brazil so I see no issue there. The sooner he gains experience in that position the sooner we could have a permanent and top player there for the next 10 years.

8.) 13 Apr 2018 06:38:49
I would like Lallana and Milner to stay but can’t see it so we will probably add to midfield. The 3 up top I think Origi and Sturridge are gone, Solanke may go on loan but that depends on whether we keep Ings. Brewster has apparently been promised first team action so unless all the above forwards leave I see no need for another striker, although if they did all leave I’d be excited to see who Klopp gets. The outside position I would like to see some cover for Salah Mane as Lallana and Ox are not wingers. I’d like for Wilson, maybe Ojo to be given a chance but can see us bringing in someone like that young lad Moses to cover both flanks.

9.) 13 Apr 2018 07:52:25
Westwood, Ings will potentially be at Newcastle next season.

04 Apr 2018 22:36:16
Can Trent get some lovin guys. You were all quick to slaughter the boy, now come on an give him so praise. What a game lad. An absolute f$#kin titan.

1.) 04 Apr 2018 22:59:17
Was really worried that it would be a game where he would be badly exposed, but he was well supported by Lovren and the midfield, tonight he looked like he had learnt from his mistakes and grew up as a player. Still only half time but 3-0 is a great start.

2.) 04 Apr 2018 22:59:36
Not all of us joey.

3.) 04 Apr 2018 23:09:10
I was really worried but he did outstanding tonight and also doubling up on sane with the ox helped.

4.) 04 Apr 2018 23:16:09
I wasn't worried about TAA at all. I always knew the kid would show up and play. My only fear was that would Klopp put in place a plan to protect him and he did and the guys like Lovs, Salah, Milner and Hendo were brilliant in plugging the holes and never leaving him too isolated. Even when he was, he shut Sane down and allowed next to no dangerous crosses. I backed him all the way like many others did and this will prolly teach others to not give up on your own esp. one who you know has the potential to be great.

5.) 04 Apr 2018 23:25:27
This is the special thing about watching a young player find his focus and put some all important experience under his belt.

It's too often forgotten in the modern game. Very few kids at his age compete without fault for 90mins and unless we persevere and see them through the good and bad times we'll never give them the chance they deserve.

Today proved that he has the quality that is expected at this football club and until he has ironed out all of his shortcomings we have to stick with him. How else is he going to grow as a player.

Contender for MOM for me.

6.) 04 Apr 2018 23:42:21
Yes, credit to TAA, but also credit to Klopp. He had clearly instructed the team to assist and TAA wad rarely left 1v1 with Sane. But when he was, he handled it well. It was different to Man U and Palace though. They played long ball flick ons which exposed a weakness in Trent's game. City don't play that style so it suited TAA better. However, City targeted that side through Sane and it failed. TAA should feel good about that for sure.

7.) 04 Apr 2018 23:51:43
I have to apologise to Arnold as I had him down as a weak link and to be replaced by Clyne for tonight's game. Take a bow son you were fantastic.

8.) 05 Apr 2018 01:08:01
never worried about trent. expect him to make mistakes and also expect he will learn from. might take a couple games to get it right but that is part of the learning curve for a kid right? and if he ain't playing, he ain't really learning ye!?

9.) 05 Apr 2018 01:14:53
Tbf I think sane had the beating of taa a fair few times but looked to me the team decided swamping silva and kevin dB was the more important to stifle their play, sane got free a few times dropping deeper and playing salah off taa and Milner but it worked a treat as he fluffed all chances. Great tactics although very risky. Great display through the middle where they clearly have more quality but what a performance from our front 3 again, thinkin mane is in the form of his like at tho mo too.

{Ed0333's Note - I believe Mane has another gear in his locker. He’s playing well of late but not his blistering best.

10.) 05 Apr 2018 01:35:59
For his age and inexperience he was astounding. He's what 19? Playing against one of the best footballing teams in recent years and he gives a performance like that - we can't really expect any more from the lad!

He's not alone in making mistakes but the important thing is that he is learning from them - he is just a kiddie.

Give him time and show him a bit of patience - he has the potential to be phenomenal.

11.) 05 Apr 2018 06:09:07
I really think we have to live with the mistakes. the learning he is getting for the future and the natural talent he has is worth it to me. yes, even if it costs us a game or a final. I just think we have to back the lad to shine and let him learn on the job. either that or we protect him and then send him on loan to the champiosnhip next season or summing. keep him here!

12.) 05 Apr 2018 07:57:01
Disagree a bit there, Mickmullin. Sane did NOT fluff his lines by a lack of effort. He fluffed his lines cos we had a plan to never leave him isolated with TAA. He was their only outlet all game and everyone knew Pep would target him. You know who else knew that? Klopp. which is why he devised a game plan to get TAA help and for 90% of the time, it worked. The times he was isolated, he stood up to Sane and almost never letting him get to the byline, showing him inside where his "help" in Lovs, Milner and Salah at times, was. Sane did make runs but NONE of them were dangerous and that in itself, is a huge win for TAA, Klopp and the boys. That is called good coaching and preparation. We beat City in ALL depts' of the game esp. tactically where Klopp at Pep's lunch AGAIN. Nothing was given to us. WE TOOK IT.

13.) 05 Apr 2018 07:57:41
Truth, I applaud your honesty, man. I know we both spoke about TAA before the game and I'm glad you came around. You have my respect, man.

14.) 05 Apr 2018 08:42:44
Faith can’t agree more. Said this the other day. He will of course make mistakes as he’s young and learning his trade but we need to allow him to do that to fulfill his potential. By crikey tho, he was bloody amazing last night, Robbo too. Massive team effort from all of them. They should be proud of that performance 👏.

Ed different type of question.

Have opposing clubs ever been caught trying to bribe players/ coaches for opposing tactics, game plans for upcoming match or about there best players on how to stop them or weather there temperamental or anything M.

Joey9898

{Ed002's Note - Not that I recall.}

1.) 03 Apr 2018 01:51:08
Salah got hair style advice from feliene.

28 Mar 2018 13:49:10
Sorry ed didn't believe he was a random player but more a top class young cb, which is or was a position we were actively looking to fill .

His partner from the season before came in to the league and was a success, and he wasn't even the better player.

Thanks for the help bud :)

Joey9898

{Ed002's Note - He is simply a random player, nothing to do with Liverpool and you should ask such questions on the European page or the pages of the clubs who do have an interest in him.}

28 Mar 2018 12:09:04
Do we hold any interest in .............

Joey9898

{Ed002's Note - Please don't ask about random players - try the European pages.}

Well if what karius has done hasn't improved his standing in the first team then I'm unsure what type of form a keeper needs to show in 6 months. He's been magnificent for a young lad coming in with all the pressures of the crowd to goalkeepers thanks to migs and after his "dodgy" great run of 10 games with 6 clean sheets in his first season, thanks to being slaughtered by Jimmy Carra and everyone involved in punditry. Who clmaoured for freaking calamity back haha.

Sorry ed1 but he's just a random player apparently. So don't hold your breathe.

Joey9898

{Ed001's Note - I never said we were moving for him. I said we have watched him. I have also pointed that I don't expect us to buy any centre backs this summer, including De Ligt.}

Ed you have family I'm sure.

There are better ones and worse ones but if I spat in one of there faces regardless of how good or bad they where you would still kick my ass. The same as you have jumped on this thread in sort of defence of eds slaying of Gerrard in fact practically justifying it because Gerrard wasn't as good as salah in his deeds.

If we start liking our players for what they do off the pitch then do we like any of them apart from mo? What do the others do? Anything that there not obligated to?

I love Gerrard for the happiness he gave me over many 90 minutes. Taking me away from whatever bullshit was going on.

I hope Gerrard can be successful up at rangers and I'm happy someone has taken a chance on him. If it doesn't work out then he will always be welcome at our place.

It's GERRRRAAARDDDD!

Joey9898

{Ed0333's Note - with all due respect Joey this is not worth my time or effort. I would like nothing better than to give you a incisive retort but I’m not sure you would get it. Please don’t think I’m patronizing you my friend its just that you have blinkers on and you wouldn’t appreciate my sentiments. Have a super weekend friend.

How a few years can get rid of all the memories of a player.

Gerrard was one of greatest ever players and gave us some of the best memories we will ever have.

If he was diagnosed with an illness I'd hope we would support him no matter what and that we wouldn't let anyone say anything bad about him and that should go for any endeavours he takes on. He is actually one of our coaches Aswel. So he's still very much apart of this club and I don't think it's right an ed any ed for that matter should be able to give such a statement on one of our own!

Ed I appreciate all your hard work but if you find it easier to work on other pages then I support your decision and wish you all the best on your new endeavours. The other pages will be lucky to have you! Good luck.

Joey9898

{Ed0333's Note - A mans character and ethics defines him not what he does on a football pitch. Gerrard was a damn good footballer but if your gonna idolize and hero worship a Liverpool player mate you’d do worse than Mo Salah. Google his countless and selfless charitable acts. Some guy burgled salah’s parents home in Egypt and instead of getting his head kicked in or handing him over to the police (for a sure beating and time in jail) he gave the robber money and got him a job. There’s lots more stories of salah’s humanity.

Wow ed002 mouthing off there. got to love how he's can get these pages flying. Your lucky we can't ban you though ed or you'd be outta here after that little piece.

Gerrard is our God, we have a few but rangers would be lucky to have him. Enough said.

Joey9898

{Ed002's Note - No problem, I am sure the other Eds will help the cocksucking trash like you out for the rest of the summer. There is no point banning rubbish like you because you will be back straight away.}

As for ed? Ed be chilled and just answer did you want oxlade? Did yu have concerns over vvds attitude? Did you have concerns over manes attitude? Did you want Robertson?

Do you have slight concerns over Keitas attitude.

This is klopps house. Griezman for example plays in the most anti negative footballing side on the planet, effective and needed but not set up to help him flourish.

Why look at the potential negative of griezman on our boys and not the potential positive from our boys on him. 1 man vs 24 all on board with one way of working?

Griezman is not happening but I don't think there is many that could effect this group nor not improve in it. Every single player now is better, salah went from 15 to nearly 50 in a season. Imagine half that impact on Antoine griezman haha

As for why break any chemistry. I did give my reason. Streghen at your strongest. Don't live off the back of this season whatever happens. Keep your top players hungry. Give them more weapons and properly support klopp to take on city and all there millions.

A striker/ winger, cm and cb and where golden. We already have Keita Aswel. 4 a season should always be signed.

Joey9898

{Ed001's Note - 4 is too many for starters, for second you strengthen your weakest point to bring it up, not strengthen your strongest point. You sound like Wenger over the last few years. As for the beginning, I do not see the relevance, Griezmann is nothing like any of those and each person should be taken as separate. I look at the negative because there is absolutely no positive to him, he is simply not good enough to improve the first team and so it is a waste of money to buy him when there are hundreds out there who will.}
