Recently there's been a lot of talk in Portugal about Liverpool being interested in Sporting's Rui Patrício and that he could be sold for around €15 million. Is there any truth in that? (Not discussing the money, just the possible transfer)

Hi people, I'm a long time Liverpool supporter but never been to a match. I'm from Portugal and I was wondering if I have any chance of getting a ticket for the away stand for the Lisbon match and if so, how do I do it? Would love to watch the match with the Liverpool supporters.

See they are selling for £500 on sites home stands are going for about £170. Impossible to get them through the club as people who get that are not going just sell them on there same as all away games there will be a few people with loads of these tickets that never go and just sell them no need to go to work.

I know I might be a bit biased with my opinion because I'm portuguese but what do you think about Leonardo Jardim? I think he's doing a really good job at Monaco just like he did at Sporting. If Klopp doesn't come do you think he would be a good manager for Liverpool?

From the 10-12 games I've watched this year I think he is a good tactician, just too defensive for Liverpool way

mate words right out of my mind. i logged in today to mention jardim and there it is the first post is about him.
i think he is really a good coach. given Monaco are not killing it in french league, but his is one defensively mean team having conceded just around 23 goals in 34 league games and just 1 goal in 6 champions league group games. and it has to said here that most people here won't even have heard of players Monaco have in that defence. i think he would bring a lot to Liverpool firstly and fore-mostly doing away with the defensive naivety we have had for 3 years straight. I am not really not sure that playing attractive attacking football is the way ahead, unless we are defensively obstinate, i don't think we would be winning anything. but the only problem with Jardim could be he would require major time to get us running and perhaps he might not be able to attract any big names that perhaps a Klopp could. also he has really taken over the good work done by ranieri at Monaco, at LFC he wouldn't really be taking over any good work, it working from the scratch. still with no falcao , he has done wonders with a very young team. most players in monaco are 20-24ish

The French league is notoriously weak. If he is not pulling up trees there then he has no chance in the premier league.
To have a good defensive record in France is no barometer of success and how many years of success has he had?

Too big a gamble, unless we can attract a world class manager, it is not worth sacking Rodgers.

i am not sure how french ligue is a notoriously weak league? psg beat chelsea , monaco beat arsenal, their is perhaps the only league that will go down to the wire as to who will win it and has competition at almost every level. i don't think if we talk in terms of level/ quality of football, if anything french ligue is hard and most competitive this season. There is a club like PSG which has quality at almost all levels , which isn't having it is easy, unlike in other leagues where top clubs are just toying away with the league. i think french league this year has been a breath of fresh air this season for european football.

Ron you don't need to be a world class manager whatever that is, to be better than rogers. There are any number of capable coaches out there that could do considerably better with the resources he has been given for three years.
