Mo has C.V.

1.) 13 Nov 2020 15:26:23
Can we just end the season now.

2.) 13 Nov 2020 15:34:39
On the plus side, he can’t get injured now.

3.) 13 Nov 2020 15:47:31
on plus side it during international, Mane and Salah won't be missing anymore games.

4.) 13 Nov 2020 16:55:48
It’s crazy that international matches are going on given the C.V. situation and likelihood of injuries. How can flying players all around the world in the current environment be justified given the risks?

5.) 13 Nov 2020 17:05:50
People can catch it more than once Riomazy!

6.) 13 Nov 2020 17:29:46
To be fair the number of re-infected cases is so low statistically they would not be considered significant. Very much positive from the immunity side of things, but yes some could be really unlucky.

Cheers.

7.) 13 Nov 2020 22:22:19
All I say is I’m extremely disappointed in mo just seen the video of him at his brothers wedding so many people there ridiculous.

8.) 15 Nov 2020 15:34:47
Longthing76. Immunity gained via challenge lasts around 90 days.

12 Apr 2018 08:54:58
Eds do you know if we have any interest in Ben Wilmot? the 19 year old CB at Stevenage?

{Ed002's Note - I had been told (but took no notice) that a move to Watford could be agreed for the kid. With Liverpool's transfer ban I am not sure how they could complete the transfer right now. Certainly Spurs were interested as well.}

1.) 12 Apr 2018 09:54:38
When is the ban over?

{Ed002's Note - April 2019 although they can sign players this coming summer if there are (a) no open charges, (b) no further infractions, and (c) the club can demonstrate that they made the payments that they were committed to.}

2.) 12 Apr 2018 11:17:30
I really hope this ban was a wake up call to Liverpool, no one can try and brush over what we did. It was wrong!

But I hope not only does this reform how we are to young players but that it is a lesson to all clubs. Kids aren’t just assets to buy they need to be treated as proper humans!

3.) 12 Apr 2018 11:07:24
Thanks Ed!

4.) 12 Apr 2018 13:06:49
So he can sign in the summer then.

{Ed002's Note - As I said, if there are (a) no open charges, (b) no further infractions, and if (c) the club can demonstrate that they made the payments that they were committed to. This of course if Liverpool are interested.}

03 Jul 2021 21:42:25
So happy for the captain well deserved.

1.) 03 Jul 2021 22:06:34
Get in there Hendo lad.

2.) 03 Jul 2021 22:35:12
I’m of the opinion that Henderson is one of the greatest captains in our history. And IDGAF for any other opinions that are different on that matter. He just is.

{Ed014's Note - 🤣🤣

3.) 04 Jul 2021 10:19:25
England's real captain. Not Kane.

4.) 04 Jul 2021 10:23:08
He’s got the medals on the table Ed, particularly the premier league champions medal, one which Gerrard never had.

{Ed014's Note - I was just laughing at your IDGAF mate 😂

5.) 04 Jul 2021 13:04:17
Gerrard was a much better player and captain who dragged our club to a few unexpected achievements with the help of a couple of others. But my love for Jordinho Hendersinho will never die he deserves the medals he has won and I hope he can add to the as well. Truly the heartbeat of our team. Really need him Trent and maybe Virg fit for the curtain raiser on the 14th August. Maybe we can loan Suarez just for one game too against Norwich.

{Ed025's Note - you dont want that scumbag suarez anywhere near your club mate, an absolute tool who dragged your club through the gutter..

6.) 04 Jul 2021 13:18:01
That’s so true I agree he had me pulling my hair out with the way he conducted himself, but there’s no doubting his football was magical those few years.

{Ed025's Note - but some things transcend skill and ability arnold, like decency and decorum mate..

7.) 04 Jul 2021 13:59:10
I know this mate maybe tell Sterling? Couldn’t help myself 😂.

28 Jun 2021 22:48:11
Brace yourself here comes the do not want mbappe he is overrated.

1.) 28 Jun 2021 23:28:39
I don’t think any of us could step up and do any better.

2.) 29 Jun 2021 00:08:17
He is definitely not over rated but he has performed poorly overall this tournament. Good character building experience for him now and it may just force him out if France and into our hands lol.

3.) 29 Jun 2021 04:28:06
absolutely useless. not worth the shirt on his back.
Now, if PSG would kindly offload him to us for free . . . :D.

4.) 29 Jun 2021 04:29:26
Its crazy to think how young the player still is, he enjoyed all the plaundits and praise during the last world cup, now he will have to stay strong mentally whilst he gets slagged off by the French Media and other Pundits who are not fit to lace his boots.

5.) 29 Jun 2021 08:14:47
Knappe has got a huge ego problem BUT he is not the only one with that prob in that French team. Players like Griezmann, Rabiot, Benzema and of course the Dancing Donkey Pogba are all included. They believed in their own hype coming into the Euros and played like it from jump.

They showed utter disrespect and arrogance to the Swiss even tho, the Swiss was bossing them all over the pitch till Rodriguez literally tweeted Lloris and told him where to put the pen and gave them a lifeline. In the end, the better team won.

As for Mbappe, I hope this experience humbled him and that he learns from it. It’s not the end of the world. That whole beef with Giroud was just stupid and if he’s smart, he’ll realize and learn from it too.

6.) 29 Jun 2021 09:12:10
I think it exploded the myth of Rapheal Varane being a top defender, he was shockingly bad. I think he’d be made mincemeat of on in the premier league.

7.) 29 Jun 2021 11:29:39
VVVV, then Utd are welcome to him if your premise is true.

8.) 29 Jun 2021 12:48:21
He does look like he’s got a few mistakes in him under pressure Oli, Here’s hoping United blow a fortune on him!

09 Jun 2021 09:48:23
so from so called rumours it looks like one of the attackers and midfielders will potentially be joining sorry about spelling for some of the names!

Attackers
Daka
Tammy
Ikone

Midfielders
Bissouma
Pelligrini
Neuhaus
Tieliemans

I just don't see Roma or Leicester selling either of there players maybe next year a move will be on for both of them even if it doesn't involve Liverpool

personally I'd be happy if either Daka or Tammy came in. both know where the net is Tammy could give us something different, I don't really no much about Neuhaus maybe one of the Eds could comment? Bissouma looks to be a decent prospect.

{Ed001's Note - who the hell is Tammy? Surely you don't mean Tammy Abraham? You have to be on the wind up if you are referring to him.}

1.) 09 Jun 2021 10:36:31
Rather promote from within than Abraham. Why would we want a player that’s not good enough for Chelsea is beyond me
Up the pool.

2.) 09 Jun 2021 11:06:24
Aah, but he knows where the net is. He's Tammy wi net awareness.
Don't let the Ed put you off Tammy, Kloppers.
Stand by your man.

3.) 09 Jun 2021 11:11:35
As an Origi replacement I’d have Tammy all day home grown all the physical attributes and proven scorer at pl level the only question marks are on his fitness in terms of injuries.

4.) 09 Jun 2021 11:19:36
I agree that Tammy isn’t necessarily right for us, but not because he is a ‘Chelsea reject’. Studge was a Chelsea reject and he did OK for us, Coutinho was a Milan reject and likewise. Just because a player doesn’t work at a particular team doesn’t mean they won’t work at another.

We also have a few notable rejects that have done very well elsewhere - Suso and Gulasci spring to mind.

{Ed002's Note - And Mbappe another Chelsea reject.}

5.) 09 Jun 2021 11:26:12
I'd take Dwight Gayle. It's as clear as crystal Gayle would score goals for us.
It might even turn my brown eyes blue though.

6.) 09 Jun 2021 11:30:35
Wow, I did not know that Ed002, thank you!

Just googled and found that Chelsea weren’t sure about him as a kid following a trial in 2012 as he didn’t offer enough defensively! Wow, Mbappe and De Bruyne, butterfingers! 😂😂.

7.) 09 Jun 2021 11:41:48
LOL Rigsby. it's a stretch but a good one!

8.) 09 Jun 2021 11:52:07
Zed Luis Alberto has done fantastic for Lazio, Aspas for Celta Vigo, Coates has been brilliant for Sporting,

9.) 09 Jun 2021 11:39:29
And Salah was let go .
.

{Ed002's Note - There were good reasons for selling de Bruyne and Salah - and indeed Cuadrado.}

10.) 09 Jun 2021 12:03:21
I did not know that Ed? I’m guessing whoever made that decision has been relieved of their duties by now?

I’d rather sign Tammy than Ikone, Ikone offers almost no no goal threat and isn’t the most creative players in the world by a very long way (has never scored more than 4 goals in a season in a farmers league) and offers less than Harry Wilson, if that were remotely possible.

{Ed002's Note - As I said - there were good reasons.}

11.) 09 Jun 2021 12:12:08
Can't believe I forgot about the ultimate Chelsea reject - Salah!

I think the consensus is - judge a players fit with us based on abilities or attributes, NOT what teams they have played for in the past or why they were let go.

12.) 09 Jun 2021 12:17:30
Chelsea have to be the worst club in history for letting great players leave, an absolute shambles. On Abraham i think he's far from a Chelsea reject. I think he's been treated unfarly there were big name signings have undeservedly started ahead of him. If he had a big price tag he'd b playing. Not saying we should go for him but he is a good player.

13.) 09 Jun 2021 12:20:34
Good reasons eg poor judgement.

{Ed002's Note - No, clearly something you won't understand.}

14.) 09 Jun 2021 12:50:24
I agree with you there Jadon. Not sure he would fit at Liverpool, but he is certainly a potentially great player.

I was chatting to some Chelsea mates of mine recently and saying that the most excited they have been by a Chelsea team was during the transfer ban as they finally had a chance to see some of the great youngsters coming through. Of them, most have been sidelined by 'big fee' players, other than Mount and Reece James. I think Hudson-Odoi and Abraham would have been as good or even better for Chelsea than their big-priced replacements.

15.) 09 Jun 2021 13:05:55
I know they've just won the Champions League but I think Chelsea's recruitment strategy is really poor. They have a lot of quality players but they don't seem to have proper plans for how to use them and how they will fit into their system.

Look at Werner. He doesn't fit Chelsea's system of play at all. Havertz, a massive money buy, has been shunted about all over the place. Pulisic has been there a couple of years now and hasn't been made the most out of as he has been in and out the team.

I think Tuchel deserves all the credit he's getting and more by trying to get their best players into a system that works.

16.) 09 Jun 2021 13:13:41
The football of today is all about "what have you done for me lately? " or more precisely, the form of the moment. The Salah of Chelsea and the Salah of Liverpool are not the same players nor was the situation the same. The Coutinho of Liverpool is not the Coutinho of Barca. The best player of LFC last year, Mané, is being loudly pushed out the door, this year. It's all about the moment.

Tammy Abraham is not good enough for Liverpool.

17.) 09 Jun 2021 14:26:10
By your reasoning, ArAy, the Tammy Abraham of Liverpool may not be the Tammy Abraham of Chelsea. If Klopp and co are keen then he's good enough for me.

{Ed077's Note - but are Klopp and co actually keen on him??

18.) 09 Jun 2021 14:42:48
Is the Klopp of 2021-22 the same as the Klopp of 2019-20?

Is todays Klopp the same as yesterday's Klopp?

Am I the same as I was 5 minutes ago?

All a bit too existential for me.

19.) 09 Jun 2021 15:01:05
Has anybody actually seen this Daka play or have they just seen the YouTube video of him looking like Pele?
Because I don’t know about you lot, it was hard enough watching Liverpool games this season never mind the Austrian Bundesliga.

20.) 09 Jun 2021 15:24:27
Patson the backs for those that have bothered to watch him play.
I'll watch him if he ever plays for us though.

21.) 09 Jun 2021 15:34:05
LFC8, do you mean Pete Beardsley? If so, Patson looks nothing like him.

Nice one Rigsby, dat's daka-ind of humour I appreciate :-)

22.) 09 Jun 2021 18:15:17
IDreamofGini, we're still waiting for the name change. And what I wanted to emphasize was more, the form of the moment. I just don't think he is good enough. He was given the shot as starter ahead of a Giroud and he couldn't hold on to it. That says a lot. I do not wish to see a Tammy Abraham of Liverpool.

Zed, stick to your soliloquies on chicken and KFC. 😜.

23.) 09 Jun 2021 19:26:16
Tammy Abraham? He’s a static target man with little movement. Liverpool need mobile strikers, hence why Benteke was shown the door immediately.

24.) 09 Jun 2021 19:26:58
I understand plenty thanks.

25.) 10 Jun 2021 02:28:16
From a Chelsea supporter perspective, Tammy isn’t static but it’s mostly his decision making and finishing that seems to let him down. He gets into tap in positions, similar to werner, and misses (similar to werner) but without werners pace.

26.) 10 Jun 2021 11:49:27
Yes I do mean Tammy Abraham wherever he has played he has scored goals. and as a different option to Firmino he would be good enough think he would be a great option for us rather then Origi off the bench and when teams play low block and you need something different he'd be a great option at 23 he'd only improve.

02 Jun 2021 21:47:12
Andddddd trents injured.

01 Jun 2021 18:06:02
Ohh ed025 another one gone. shame really.

{Ed025's Note - not that bothered to be honest kloppers, great CV but his brand of football was very hard on the eye mate, get a goal then defend for your life may be ok in italy but its not what most of us blues want to see, so its "piss off then carlo and take your son with you"..

1.) 01 Jun 2021 20:05:29
Ed’s 25 honestly mate anyone who can throw away a 3-0 lead ain’t all that. I honestly think Everton can do better.

{Ed025's Note - im with you ace mate..

2.) 01 Jun 2021 20:15:43
Let's hope the football genius moyes takes over lol.

{Ed025's Note - lets hope man city sign kane and you lot are back in the wilderness for another 30 years lol..

3.) 01 Jun 2021 20:23:53
Wrong manager for your team Ed025 in my opinion. He needs a team of superstars and a rock solid experienced defence. Your right back and left back are far better going forward. Also none of your centre backs inspire confidence; Godfrey was the best of a bad bunch and he spent most the season covering injuries to Coleman and Digne. your midfielders all want to play on the front foot aside from Alan. Even Doucoure is better bursting forward. Richy and DCL are not good enough on the ball for slow build up play either. They looked better in games you went into with a more aggressive approach play. Great manager. Poor fit.

{Ed025's Note - im with you MK..

4.) 01 Jun 2021 20:36:35
Think Everton need a manager that plays Everton style football which is fast attacking football. Just my opinion though. Who would you go for Ed25?

{Ed025's Note - myself...potter from brighton redan..

5.) 01 Jun 2021 20:54:15
I like carlo, decent manager. him at Everton was like putting lipstick on a pig.

{Ed025's Note - so you went to the grafton as well marty.. :)

6.) 01 Jun 2021 21:07:40
Ed25 its unlike a bitter blue to support another club tut tut.

{Ed025's Note - i dont support any other club MR, but i always clap in the movies when the baddie gets his just deserts mate,, :)

7.) 01 Jun 2021 21:38:29
I really hope you don’t get Potter Ed025.

He’s a brilliant coach and I’m a big fan, I can’t be dealing with him at the Ev haha!

{Ed025's Note - i think you said that about ever manager we have had smp.. :)

8.) 01 Jun 2021 22:02:55
Are you pissed off Billy?

{Ed025's Note - im more disappointed that he never had the balls to see the job through barry (if that is the case), he doesn,t need the money and i thought he had a bit more integrity than that mate.
but being disappointed as an evertonian is all part of the script mate..

9.) 01 Jun 2021 22:03:53
Haha! Especially when you landed Big Sam Ed ;)

But in all seriousness, Potter is a superb coach who I was told to keep an eye out for about 5 years ago from someone within Middlesbrough’s academy. Think Ostersunds were In Swedish Div 2 at the time.

He’s completely transformed Brighton’s playing style from how they were under Hughton whilst improving a lot of the same players.

I really hope you don’t get him! Would be the perfect option for a long term project.

{Ed025's Note - i think so too smp but a lot will be clamouring for a big foreign name i expect mate..

10.) 01 Jun 2021 22:19:17
I just want say I think Ancellotti is a bit of a flake, he doesn't stay anywhere for much longer than 2/ 3 years, I don't think Everton are any better than when he joined. You're never going to build a club like that. I hope they pick their next manager well and good luck to them.

{Ed025's Note - nice one wuger mate..

11.) 01 Jun 2021 22:45:35
Potter would be a nice appointment, he's done very well for himself.

{Ed025's Note - very much so RH, and he knows the league mate..

12.) 01 Jun 2021 23:35:10
This is a bit bizarre if I'm honest and I've lost a bit of respect for Ancellotti - not so much for choosing Real, that's expected but he is obviously well down on their list, Ed002 suggested 5 or 6 . knowing that and the fact he had started a project like Everton it was never going to be simple. he will likely be replaced with a bad start.

Everton is very much a project and needs someone to take over that and find a balance to the players brands suggests and the 'suggestions' of moshiri. My starting point would be to get him out the room. then call ajax . I think the head coach there would be a good fit.

{Ed0666's Note - lost respect for Ancelotti? If someone offered you a job living in a warm climate where you’ve had tonnes of success previously, you’re boss respects you, is gonna pay you equal money if not more and you feel the love of you’re employers would you jump ship? I probably would. Football is extremely fickle and transitionary contracts mean nothing. If klopp left Liverpool mid contract to manage Bayern or the national team yes I’d be aggrieved but things like this are a reality. The head coach at Ajax signed a new contract at Ajax I’m not sure hed leave a month after signing. You never know tho

13.) 01 Jun 2021 23:47:48
Ed0666. yeah a bit. Its not so much about the job offered, I get its ideal football wise. But he is perhaps the manager I have held in high degree for some time. His actions, generally always were of respect and honesty so whilst football wise I get it. I do think he's just like everyone else now!

{Ed0666's Note - everybody has a price apart from idealists! Listen the guys 61 and he got the job of his dreams handed to him it was tough to say no mate. I would have done the same thing most people would have.

14.) 02 Jun 2021 04:44:37
You could say Madrid made him an offer he couldn't refuse, it just goes to show polishing silverware is easy polishing turds more difficult, Carlo just about proved how difficult turds polishing is.

15.) 02 Jun 2021 05:00:59
The man is a winner and has won titles everywhere he has managed (Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Real Madrid), so he's due credit for knowing his job and doing it well. But I've always felt he was somewhat of a lightweight, don't know why. They are vastly different in every way, but Mourinho and Ancelloti share one thing in common; they hit and run every 2-3 years.

{Ed001's Note - he is also basically semi-retired and leaving 99% of the work to his useless son. Everton are well rid to be honest, as they were only going to go backwards if he stayed.}

16.) 01 Jun 2021 23:59:57
We're talking as if Ancelotti has turned the club into a laughing stock. They haven't exactly set the world alight since Roberto Martinez left.
they were making slow and steady progress over the two years Carlo has been there. perhaps a shame he isn't going to hang about, but perhaps also reflective of a mismatch in resource to match the ambition of having a coach like Carlo.

{Ed025's Note - if you think he made progress faith...you must not have watched us very often mate..

17.) 02 Jun 2021 07:27:54
Ed025, I can imagine the "pretty boy" (Hamezz) and the "stork" (Richarlison) trying to keep pace with Rafa's disciplined ways. Sparks will fly, Lol.

{Ed025's Note - that would not be a bad thing imo ArAy mate..

18.) 02 Jun 2021 12:25:32
666 - I tend to agree, but it's interesting to have this opinion on a manager when most of us would be quick to tear him down if he were a player.

19.) 02 Jun 2021 08:13:42
The funny thing Ed025 is that he’d probably have had a bigger transfer budget at Everton, he had free reign to decide his transfer targets (madrid really are in the sh*t and he’ll have no say in who they sign) and if Madrid lose more than one game the fans and press will be on his back almost straight away, which would never have happened at Everton. As much as I sit here and mockingly say “Fat Sam’s looking for a job! ”, I really wouldn’t wish that on anyone, well except maybe one of the Manchester clubs, but you’ve suffered him once and twice is just cruel and unusual punishment. My money is on Eddie Howe or as a dark horse, Antonio Conte.

{Ed025's Note - nuno looks to be in pole position at the moment VVVV, i must admit i wanted potter...but dont rule out moyes mate..

20.) 02 Jun 2021 12:24:54
25 - depends on what you consider progress and also the timescale you are assessing it on. Everton need 3 - 5 years of solid investment and consistency to get to where I think you want them to be and that is challenging in the top 4 and competing for the other cups.

{Ed025's Note - thats the ideal scenario faith but as we all know it seldom plays out like that mate..

two completely different players that play in different positions A-Klopp it'll be both or another two the clubs looking for a CM and a versatile forward it seems.

Absolutely disgraceful comment Salah, he has scored some extremely important goals for us and contributed massively to klopps cause the last 5 years. I personally think it’s his time to move on and see if he can become the main man at another club but comments like that are out of order.

His card on fifa is pretty good. definitely should sign him because of that, ED02 is right who you wanting to replace in the team?

{Ed002's Note - One issue that is again not being addressed is the Home Grown/Club Developed ratio.}

Extremely talented lad. could be a great option don't think Chelsea are selling and would be very expensive being young and english Ed02 is CHO up for sale? wondered if Liverpool showed any interest in him.

{Ed002's Note - He would be available at the right price and Liverpool have shown no interest.}

really don't understand how people think its down to the owners when it comes to player contracts they'll have nothing to do with it.
