I think Robbo has definitely benefited from a little rest as well due to Tsmiskas stepping in and the standard not dropping. I’m not sure Trent could drop out with the same output though. The dream would be to find a right back Tsmiskas.

Robbo is on Robbo Ball right now and he is playing angry like he has a lot to prove. Just the way I like it. Always play like you have something to prove and you'll NEVER get caught slipping.

In fairness Neco's being injured a bit when he would have had chances this year but he was terrific lately for Wales. He might not be the standard of Trent but he's a much better player than given credit for and is still improving. Perfect backup option for me.

I think Neco is a capable understudy and he’s getting better with each appearance. His last outing against Porto he had a really good game, and as Jadon said, his performances for wales have been good too.

Robbo got injured at the start of the season a bit like Hendo he took a while to find his form. No one should ever doubt Robbo. Now we have 2 quality lb’s Robbo won’t get tired like last season.

Gents my post was in no way a dig at Neco. I like the lad but if I was to take my red Tinted glasses off I would honestly admit the drop off from a Trent to Neco is very big. As I said Tsmiskas replaced Robbo with no drop off. Hence why inn a dream world that wouldn’t be the situation.

Let’s not get carried away, I never understood that people think Tsmiskas is as good as Robbo of course he is not. The lad is a very capable player and we are lucky to have him in the squad but Tsmiskas is someway off a relentless machine that is Andy Robbo.

Mark I never said Tsmiskas was of the same standard as Robbo mate I said there was no drop off. Meaning drop off in the team performance or what he offered to the team performance.
Robbo has been more often than not world class for us for 3-4 seasons. Tsmiskas has been excellent for us over 6-8 games.

All good here mate. Been absolutely manic in work so not been able to get on here as much but loved the game last night. Lads seem to have really clicked, but just around the corner is the African nations. I really hope that doesn’t derail what could be an amazing season.

The game is done, you can say this or that about the decisions but it won't change anything. Sometimes they go for you, sometimes they don't but we need to stop being so over reactive and entitled. West Ham will take points from the top teams this year, they are a very effective opponent with a tough style to break. I think we may have to get used to losing a few this season, gone are the days of a 100 point champion, this league will conjure some really tough and surprising results.

Well, according to a lot of the ending chat on the live chat yesterday, those of us who see positivity (here on the main page) in a loss, are actually "clowns". I enjoy the live chat and go there often (I stay away on matches we are losing, it's too stressful to handle losing and those comments, at the same time) .
But it's clear to me that the "boo brigade" puts in a lot of energy and (almost desperate) effort when we're losing or lose. Whereas the positive guys seem to have a certain calm, confident and serene posture in whatever they say. I'm no psychologist, but it tells you a lot, doesn't it?

Salah, I would not engage in calling people names just cos they do what I wouldn’t do or don’t think the sake as I would. If people want to be negative then that is their choice. Those who choose to be positive can counter that with their opinions. It’s what debate is all about.
ArAy1969, people are free to di what they want and that includes being so negative that you start to wonder why they bother supporting us anyway if they think we will lose every game or or that we lose so they can crow about it. Must be a sad way to support a club as successful as we have been under Klopp, IMO.
