Use the money for sales to pay for last year and get this year’s targets on the never-never again. Just kick the can down the road a bit more. Seems to work for the UK Government.

Bellingham was playing in a poor Birmingham side at the age of 16 and did very well. I appreciate it was a league down from the Prem but he’d be used to the pace and the physicality of the English game.

Agree MK Scouser. From what I’ve seen, he looks a really exciting prospect. Think he played a CL game last season and he really didn’t look out of place at all.

From what I have seen, the bookies have Liverpool as joint second favourites with Chelsea, behind City as the ones to beat. Liverpool will be there or there abouts. Need to have the rub of the green with respect to injuries but make no mistake, we have a very good side.

The lad is going to be a superstar. You can probably see why Klopp may be reluctant to splash the cast on a midfielder and/ or forward when you have Elliott who can play a vital part of the squad and cover for both positions. Haven’t been this excited about a young prospect for a long time.
