Not to be inflammatory Ed but how come Dyche hasn’t been getting pelters from the start?
Everton fans didn’t like Rafa’s football (really it was about him being former Liverpool boss, wasn’t it? ) but Dyche is even worse.
{Ed025's Note - i suppose we were happy that he kept us in the PL Paisley as that was his main brief, we were hoping that with decent coaching we could move up and go forward, turns out that his ethos is to play defensively and hoof the ball up front where a lone striker with no support is supposed to score goals, very archaic and boring just like the fat Spanish waiter in fact, we dont have good players or money to spend mate so its not an easy gig, so its all about coaching and bringing youth through and those 2 are unable or too scared to do that, fans want to be entertained in the end and those 2 dinosaurs are not fit for purpose im afraid..

As far as I know he still can't get a work permit and the club are sending him back out on loan, YNWA.

I think he's off on loan this season as he doesn't qualify for a permit yet. Although he has been called up to the youth set up for Brazil so hoefully he's on the right path.

As I understand it
Kolo, Teixera, Rossiter gone
Skrtel, Allen, Benteke, Balotelli, Canos, Illori almost certainly gone
Ibe, Markovic, Alberto, Wisdom, Moreno all possibles to leave depending on signings/ pre-season
An outside chance we see Coutinho or Firmino receive large bids and leave, but I suspect they both stay as Klopp will want to keep them
Not too sure about Milner, Llalana and Lucas but guessing they'll very likely stay unless a good bid comes in we can't refuse
On incomings I can see Chilwell and Zielinski joining and possibly Amavi, probably that's it unless Firmino or Coutinho get their heads turned. Dahoud is clearly being watched but maybe for next season.
I'd be very happy with this as a window, I think Klopp will have done a good job addressing the weaknesses at GK, CB, Wing and LB.

Nice post Zimbo. If you're right, I'd hope both Alberto and Markovic do well enough to stay a further season at least. Obviously hope both are amazing, but trying to stay realistic.
Ibe I'd loan not sell, or as above, I'd hope he impresses.
How close are we really to selling those you listed as?

Haha, I believe Skrtel all but done while Allen, Benteke have a few interested parties but still some way to go (will only progress post Euros) .
Canos and Illori we should shift fairly easily with reasonable interest, but Balotelli is anyone's guess who takes him.
I too hope we keep Markovic but I believe he will take some convincing after his first experience here. I doubt we'll keep Alberto, particularly if we get Zielinski.
I agree to lending Ibe. has has long way to go but if he can get lots of playing time next year or two who knows?
BTW most of this is from spending way too much time on this site + my own views rather than any great real inside knowledge like the Eds. just thought it might be helpful to summarise as I read things for those that don't track everything here all the time.
Hats off to them taking the time to keep us updated, and hope they'll correct me if I got anything wrong!

Balotelli is unmanageable. If klopp gives up in ibe that easily he wouldn't stand a chance with Balo.

Still better than sadio Mane. Balo is a character, Klopp is an opposite character, they might bring out the best and the worst in each other. its like walking on a twin edge sword. If we can't sell him, then we might use him. But with studger, Ings, Origi, firmino already there he doesn't stand a chance, that is assuming we sell benteke. It might work only if we sell all of them and he is the only striker we have.
Anyways last year he didn't have many off field issues, atleast that's a start, Age is running out for him. His country team has dumped him. No club in the major leagues would touch him. Its now or never for him. or he will end up in china or arab football. He has his last chance as long as LFC can't find a suitor for him, in that period he has to convince klopp he is worthy of staying,
and we all know Balo won't prove Zilch to anyone.

Wasn't it now or never when we originally signed him. Apaer from striker the ball well and looking the part (big strong etc) I just don't think he has the intelligence to be a striker, know when yo run, pass etc picking up positions he definstly doesn't have desire because that was taken away from him. anyway with the 100 grand a week xontrzct from 18. Same as si many.
Just get ride, he's nit evry good.
