Ed002, who would typically have to the TMS? Is it something you could access with a membership fee or is it a closed system that only people involved in football are given log in details?

Some fans have very short memories. Diaz was injured for much of last season. He’s had around 2 months of football and then has parents were kidnapped. Have some patience with the lad.

Guys seriously we need to stop talking about finances. Most of as will never understand it. There’s clearly a difference between how a fee is paid to the selling club and how amortisation of the cost of an asset works in accounting. All most of us know about football finances is roughly what amount a club spends on players and what they receive when selling. Then papers and pundits bang on about net spend which is different to profit and loss. If Chelsea were doing anything wrong there’s no way the other clubs wouldn’t be kicking up a fuss. We don’t have the information and if we did we probably wouldn’t understand it anyway. There’s a reason the accountants get paid a fortune.
Let’s get back to the days of rumours like my mates neighbour saw Ken Aguero arrive in a private helicopter in a nearby field. They were simpler times ?.

Ed002 I would love to know what you do for a living. Your knowledge on football transfers, finances, alluding to access to the TMS, etc. obviously you can’t tell me and I’m not asking you to btw, you’re just an intriguing chap. Thanks for your efforts every window.

You’re probably right and if so fair play to him. Football is a business and a short career for the players. If he signs as a free agent he gets the big sign on fee and the big wages. He’s won everything with us and now has a chance to start a new chapter in his career. Good luck to him, hopefully Bradley makes that position his or we look elsewhere.

Mistakes have been made but overall they’ve been owners. A few comments about a lack of ambition……really? We’ve spent big when we needed to. We’ve spent a lot of money on building a strong squad. Until now they’ve secured all the crucial assets on massive wages when needed like Salah, Klopp, etc.
How do we even know that Klopp or Slot wanted these transfers that people keep mentioning?
Throughout their time we’ve had to compete with the richest most expensive team in football history. We could never match their financial ability but we’ve been competitive, successful and sustainable. I’ll take that all day long over being a state owned manufactured club.
