Not slaying the lad just meant he’s not playing at Sheffield Utd so can’t see him coming back and getting in when players like Solanke and Origi aren’t having a sniff and I think he’s behind them in this current point in time he has potential And I think he’ll have a very good career but unfortunately I think it will be away from Anfield (hope he proves me wrong)

Can’t understand the logic, if he’s getting recalled due to lack of playing time at a team at a lower level than Liverpool why would anyone expect him to come back into/ around the first team. He’s obviously not getting a game for a reason.

{Ed002's Note - I don't think he will get much if any playing time at Liverpool, but it doesn't mean he is not good enough where he is. Perhaps the style or formation they are playing don't suit him. Perhaps he has not settled well. Plenty of things could be causing this issuette.}

people seem to buzz over him. They pull up stats about how many passes he’s made in games but it’s all pointless backwards and sideways. The pass like he did for hazards goal against us are a rareity. He is so slow and sluggish which couldn’t have been highlighted any better than by son (who isn’t slow but isn’t blessed with lightening pace either) at the weekend. His positional sense leaves a lot to be desired and because of that he is never in the right place for a tackle. He also has a nasty streak in him that is often missed, could quite easily have been sent off a couple of times this season already.

to use Jorginho as a comparison is slightly unfair yes he’s moved to a new country but he’s also followed a manager who he’s played under for about 4 so knows his style inside out. You say Hendo starts I think we sometimes forget how his career at Anfield started and now he’s club captain.

How fickle us fans are (me included), rating players after a handful of games. Keita has barely played due to injury, Fabinho hasn’t pulled up any trees but hasn’t put a foot wrong in the games he’s played and looks to have started to settle. I think had Salah not come in and had the debut season he did we wouldn’t have that high bench mark to compare them to. I for one still think fab and Keita will prove to be very good signings.
