First time poster so go easy. I've been a Liverpool far for over 40 years and this is the greatest team I've seen. Yesterday i was talking to a friend and we saidhow many liverpool players can you at least make an argument for being the best in the world in their position? We decided on Alisson, TAA, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Salah. If Thiago could stay fit he would be in the equation also. What do you think guys?

Personally I think Alphonso Davies is the best left back in the world but Robertson is a close second and the lad at Real Madrid, Casemiro probably ousts Fabinho as the best defensive midfielder. The rest I would agree with though. We certainly have multiple footballer’s in the top 3 in their position in the world.
{Ed0666's Note - I think Davies has been diagnosed with a heart issue so I’d take Robbo over him at the moment. Let’s hope Davies makes a full recovery and carry on his career as he’s super stellar.

Ed0666 Davis is not as good as Robertson yet his got a massive ceiling but defensively nowhere near as good as as Robbo yet. Thiago is world class injuries are is only thing but Fabinho has only played5 more league games I might be wrong but I think Thiago missed a couple through C.V. as well.

I was on the bus one evening just before the first lock down and there was a group of lads going to the airport. I overheard one of them saying that Salah isn't as good as liverpool fans claim he is. Then his mate turns round and says he agrees and Mane is better. Now this was over 2 years ago but still I wonder if Mo gets over looked by other clubs fans or if this was just a couple of lads being daft.

Naz, you better believe Mo would be the GOAT if he played for any of their clubs.
This is the way it goes, we all have our bias, but it's hard to see who could realistically be said to be better than him these last few seasons.
Ballon d'Or/ FIFA award just seems a farce.

Davies is nowhere near Robbo’s ability, IMO. The kid is awesome and is one to watch for the future BUT he ain’t no Robbo. He doesn’t even play LB for Canada. He plays as a wide forward which is actually his best position cos he is a converted winger.

I live in Brighton and there local club journo is saying 53m. I think the fee will be undisclosed Liverpool will say 35m Brighton will say 53m when it's really somewhere in the middle maybe 43 with add ons. Still a bargain. Get one maybe two more in there and a CB and we've had a great window. Sad about Jude but we need a whole Midfield not 1 superstar.

Sell Kelleher with an option to buy back in 3 years. That way we bank some money and can bring him back if he's flying.

In Klopps tenure we've had 14 12.30 kick offs after an international break next is spurs on 6 I think. Hardly evenly spread out but maybe Klopp needs to stop moaning about it because the situation hasn't got better.

Oh no Diouf is by far the worst for me. Terrible footballer and even worse human being. The only thing about him that makes me smile is that we are living rent free in his head. Can't shut up about LFC or Stevie.

I hate the international break. Have a group chat with my oldest friends and my bro congratulated Kane. I asked what for and his reply was no Liverpool players playing so I don't watch. That's not the truth I just don't care about England despite being a proud Englishman. I'm not really a football fan anymore just a Liverpool fan.

I think its a bit like when we signed Virgil. The club are waiting for the right player rather than rushing to buy any old trash. Would it be nice to get Bellingham in? yes. Is it going to happen this summer i highly doubt it.

I don't understand why we would replace Hendo. he's playing a very strange role this season that basically creates space for Trwnt and Mo. When he came on on Tuesday we instantly looked better. While we may not get 50 x 90 mins out of him he's invaluable.
