Bunch of publications reporting agreement with Bissouma for January.
Only one publication matters though -. This real or fake eds?
Thx for any info!

The Jurgenator

{Ed002's Note - Yves Bissouma (CM/DM) Brighton would like to continue to resist any approaches although time may be running out now - with the player having made known his desire for the club to consider offers for him although has not formally requested a transfer. He shares a "representative" with Pepe who he spent a season with at Lille and he failed to persuade Arsenal to move for him - and they have now likely moved on. Interest of Spurs may not have departed with Mr Mourinho with them moving on Sissoko and looking for an upgrade on Ndombele - although he will not be first choice. Monaco may have provided an option but I suspect the price will be too high for them and they have a first choice preference. He is not Home Grown which makes him less attractive to most English sides although Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have spoken with his representative. He is not first choice for Manchester City but they could return - Manchester United do not currently have space in the midfield and have a preferred target to replace Pogba and clear DM targets, but don't lose sight of them - Liverpool interest remains but they may not have the money without sales. Leicester were also keen but opted for another. There is a further complication in that his family is directly involved in all major decisions. Brighton have made clear to one side who enquired that they will be looking to get as close as they can to £50M.

1.) 26 Sep 2021 12:24:37
I guess we will have to see what happens on Jan, OP.

2.) 26 Sep 2021 12:35:53
You blow me away as usual with your answer ed2!
Thanks and hope keeping well.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks.}

3.) 26 Sep 2021 18:47:11
Ed002 by January without only 18 months left on his contract do you think Brighton might cash. Come the summer they won’t be able to get as much because by what you have said he won’t be signing a new deal.

{Ed002's Note - I think he is a player who could potentially move in January but it may need the player to press the club for a move.}

4.) 27 Sep 2021 07:25:44
so basically nothing has changed ed? If it is us, I wonder if it's more like that we'd agree in January for a move in Summer? didn't we do that with Keita?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool having agreed any transfer of the player with Brighton.}

5.) 27 Sep 2021 16:20:35
Unless we sell a few players, not sure we’ll have the funds to purchase Bissouma, especially in January - correct ed002?

{Ed002's Note - It seems unlikely that Liverpool would be in a position to make a single payment for him.}

6.) 27 Sep 2021 23:05:22
I totally understand the open window noise from the tabs. We would have signed 6 midfielders and 4 strikers at around £400m if all true. But why this now? Even Mbappe has gone quiet cause we’re signing him remember. Don’t get how this has no fire. Smokes there.

7.) 28 Sep 2021 23:06:38
Maybe our owners might loan a few nob out of their billions🤷‍♀️.

8.) 29 Sep 2021 08:42:43
nob 😂.

That's the name of the currency they use where Port Red is from😃.

Must say again - in absolute awe of what this team is managing to do this year - whether we win the Premier league or not.
Especially if you consider where we were only last season.
It is becoming almost boring to say (in a very good way) but we have had 3 players that can veey much be referred to as "kids" in rb, cb and gk and they have done so brilliantly, we barely even notice anymore.
Special honours to Gomez - not a "kid" but was either on the fringes or injured for large parts of previous seasons. How great has he been?!

The Jurgenator

1.) 01 Apr 2024 13:11:15
Couldn’t agree more mate.

Without sounding pedantic can Kelleher be considered a kid at 25?

2.) 01 Apr 2024 13:44:26
Gomez has been unreal all season, wow what a player? We are very lucky to have the team we have. There's hundreds of teams out there who could only dream of having a team like this. We're top notch, playing top level football. We need to enjoy it and appreciate it. I most certainly do. I believe we'll win the lot now but either way, we've done incredible, nobody can take that away from us.

I love how the young lads have stepped up when needed, they've cemented their place in the squad in my opinion.

Klopp has built something special here, said it before and will say it again, it'll take a terrible manager to mess this up. They already have it made whoever comes in. Like a microwave meal isn't it, it's hard to bugger it up.

{Ed025's Note - you have never tasted my birds dinners obviously salah mate.. :)

3.) 01 Apr 2024 14:04:50
Been a season to enjoy in terms of just the football. can't stand all the other noise around the game anymore but thank you Klopp, thank you lads, been an absolute pleasure so far.

4.) 01 Apr 2024 14:19:22
Agreed Salah
All we need now is a fake beard, baseball cap and glasses and someone who beats their chest now and again and we’re home in a boat.

This man is going to be the toughest act to follow. It’ll be even hard for the fans to adjust when the great man leaves. He gets everything out of his group of players.

5.) 01 Apr 2024 14:39:37
All the late winners we have had certainly gives the fans the high we crave of supporting the reds but il be honest I’d love to see us win the last 9 games 3-0 and take the nervousness and jeapordy out for the fans . As I get way too nervous .

6.) 01 Apr 2024 18:23:04
Like you @Jurgenator, Im just happy that we are not just in the conversation for the title, we are right there in the very thick of it and have been top of the table since Boxing Day essentially til the City game and now we are back on top with a bit more cushion.

Sometimes, I have to pinch myself and just watch us challenge for trophies and the title cos I never thought we could be anywhere near this position and here we are. Jurgen, you beauty!

7.) 01 Apr 2024 23:55:17
still got to beat United this season, do that and our chances of 1st place really improves .

16 Mar 2024 11:59:28
Ed1 mainly, came across a video of Riise talking about the golf club incident.
Baffling stuff - was the culture that bad in Liverpool during this time? How can an (aleged) thug like Bellamy be drunk, abusive, violent - 2 days before a big away match in Europe?!
Was it Benitez being just to weak to control the players?

The Jurgenator

{Ed001's Note - Bellamy just came from a world where that was normal, like Grealish etc, they don't learn professionalism and it affects their career. Rafa wasn't weak and got rid of Bellamy as soon as possible afterwards. Luckily younger players are getting a better education at academy level to avoid the drinking culture that is prevalent in Britain.}

1.) 16 Mar 2024 14:05:51
Didn’t Bellamy turn it around later in his career and become more professional? Think I read his agent took him to Africa to see how some people live and he realised he’d been a bit of a twat before after seeing them there?

2.) 16 Mar 2024 14:26:58
I remember getting 8/ 1 odds on that game that if Bellamy scored he would celebrate by swinging an imaginary golf club. It came in obviously. I liked Bellamy when he played for us but couldn't stand him anywhere else. Very mouthy. The game where we played Chelsea in the league Cup just after Gary Speed died was his best game for us. He absolutely tore them to pieces.

3.) 16 Mar 2024 15:39:38
Yeah Squiresy, I hadn't heard who took him and why, but when he was out there he realised how lucky he was to be born in the UK, much less be able to play football for a living. Gave a lot of money to charities and for building work in Africa in the 2nd half of his career. It's one of the reasons he didn't cause any trouble in his second spell here. Too bad he didn't do it when he was 19 or 20.

He's bankrupt now. Apparently a lot his 'friends' and 'advisors' took him for a ride financially.

4.) 16 Mar 2024 15:49:32
Felt in his second stint with us he was way better
More mature, used his pace and experience well and always felt he added that bit of excitement to a rather flat team then whenever he played or came on. But injuries had him by then and he wasn’t always available or could last the full match.

But yes, the Chelsea game he turned it on. In part he said as a tribute to Speed and in part in anger for the lack of respect he felt the Chelsea fans were showing during the minute of silence.

5.) 16 Mar 2024 17:20:26
@SR, the guy took Bellamy to Sierra Leone specifically and that is where everything changed for Bellamy, apparently. When he came back to us under Kenny, he was such a changed man, IMO.

6.) 16 Mar 2024 21:12:52
I played against Bellamy as a 16 year old. He was a tw@t then too.

7.) 17 Mar 2024 08:17:45
Bellers and his inner chimp.
A bit like Robbo with his knack for winding the opposition up, but revered by his own fans.
Cracking player in his pomp, injuries were taking their toll by the time he arrived here for his second spell.
Didn't know he was bankrupt though.

25 Feb 2024 18:20:15
I have no words, what a performance!
Everyone were amazing

Kelleher -. best number 2 in the world by far. If Keppa cost how much hecost, what is this guy worth?!

VVD - captain's performance, lion!

Endo - easily the best DM in the meague. How great had he been since coming in? 120 minute and still full of running and tackling

A word on the kids

Bradley already seems like a he has been here for years. What. A. Player

Mcconnel - our de bruyne. What composure. Unbelievable

Clarke - in a very good way - what arrogance. Literally controls the litch from the moment he's on. What a talent

Danns - how great has been?! Nearly scored again

And everyone else were just great.
Soproud of this group.

The Jurgenator

1.) 25 Feb 2024 18:32:48
Absolutely monumental performance that. The kids were outstanding against one of the most expensively assembled squads in the world.

We also had to put up with some of the most woeful refereeing I think I’ve ever seen. Caicedo should’ve been sent off in the first half but ended up not getting booked in 120 minutes! How, I will never know.

And the disallowed goal was an absolute joke. You can chalk at least 10 of Arsenal’s goals off this season if you are disallowing that. It happens week in, week out but suddenly they decide it’s offside? Absolutely ridiculous.

Didn’t matter in the end, the boys got exactly what they deserved. Our kids sent a billion quids worth of players home with their tails between their legs and I am beyond proud of them. Get in!

2.) 25 Feb 2024 18:57:34
@BP, Klopp's greatest achievement at LFC, IMO under these extra-ordinary circumstances before and during the game.

3.) 25 Feb 2024 19:02:04
That disallowed goal was absolutely pathetic refereeing. One of the worst instances I have see of blatant bias. With all the shirt pulling, hand checking, man blocking that goes on in every single game during set pieces, they decided to enforce an obscure rule in the EFL final. Just pathetic.

4.) 25 Feb 2024 19:15:10
Aray I think you’ve summed that up nicely. Nothing more to add.

5.) 25 Feb 2024 19:40:09
This is why refs are pathetic. They like to insert themselves into the conversation during games so they can get their name in the public high. The VAR John Brooks has officiated 3 games this season doused in controversy with us at Newcastle, Everton v City with the Onana pen call and now this one.

Look at the Endo "blocking". he and Colwill were literally having a hugfest. Colwill was not even trying to figh Endo off or anything. The VAR disallowed the goal cos he had the power to do it off a nonsensical call. Keep in mind that in other leagues, the ref is able to overrule the VAR and stick to his decision. Notice that's not the case here. They tell us they don't "wanna re-rferee the game" with VAR implementation. Is that not what has happened here? Go figure.

6.) 25 Feb 2024 19:40:11
I honestly feel like a proud dad after that game. I’ve seen a lot of finale’s over the years but I doubt I’ve been prouder! To beat a team like that with a depleted squad and bring in kids is unbelievable as well as beating Luton on Wednesday. Just soak it up lads this is so enjoyable.

7.) 25 Feb 2024 19:56:20
Var did well to disallow the Chelsea goal though ?.

8.) 25 Feb 2024 20:04:34
I found it extremely odd in a twelve minute highlight reel by ESPN two minutes were spent watching and waiting around to check for the var checks.

9.) 25 Feb 2024 20:27:16
JK23, that doesn't work with me, mate. My bias has limits. I was resigned to the goal being given when the replay came on BUT in real time, Jackson looked offside at the time he received the ball so clearly, the linesman saw something else, clearly.

10.) 25 Feb 2024 20:37:46
Oh and JK, I just saw that after the game, they showed a perfect angle across the line and Jackson was clearly offside. You can find this online so the lino got it right.

11.) 25 Feb 2024 20:37:55
That's because of their habit with American football. Waiting around to see what the penalty is after every time a ref. throws in a flag.

12.) 25 Feb 2024 20:44:59
Oli either way I’m just glad they gave it as offside as nothing surprises me these days with some of the decisions.

Our disallowed goal I have no words for. I almost turned the game off and gave up following football.

13.) 25 Feb 2024 23:11:09
JK23, you are right, tho. Im with you on the disallowed goal, man. Till this moment, I have NO idea why it was disallowed. I understand the rule of a player being offside not being allowed to block an oppo. player.

However I've watched the play several times and Endo not only just stands in front of him, Colwill does NOT fight him, try to get him out of the way nor even get into a tussle with him and NO physical altercation at all so how can they say he was being blocked by Endo? This one, I ain't letting it go, for real.

Udogie got a yellow for that, I think.

2.) 03 Oct 2023 11:28:07
That’s not even a yellow IMO - not even remotely close. Curtis shouldn’t have been a red but it was definitely a lot worse than that.

3.) 03 Oct 2023 12:32:58
SGRed, I think it was a yellow cos Gakpo was on the move bearing down on their final third and he was caught from behind.

4.) 03 Oct 2023 13:09:01
Ah OK - sorry I thought the implication was it should have been a red!

5.) 03 Oct 2023 14:09:40
Not a yellow yet jotas was? Can’t agree with that fella.

6.) 03 Oct 2023 16:42:00
Yes I believe he got a yellow for stopping the break - II thought the OP was saying should have been a red for a dangerous foul (because he was comparing to Curtis) but as far as danger goes it wouldn’t even have been a yellow in my book, it was only a yellow because it was cynical.

According to the papers, Liverpool are signing the entire current England midfield ?.

The Jurgenator

1.) 11 Dec 2022 02:07:49
Rice and Bellingham would sort us for life. Hope they don’t Include philips only person in the world to rate him is Southgate and he’s awful.

2.) 11 Dec 2022 09:13:03
How would they sort us for life? Do they not age?

If 200 million is offered as spoken about for me there is only one option - sell!
We are set to finish this season in 2-6 place with or without Mo.
We will never ever replace him as a player, not now, not a month ago, not in January.
However!
We have been here before haven't we? Torres could not have been replaced. Same with Suarez. Same with Coutinho.
Common to allof them, the sun still shone next morning on Liverpool FC. We moved on and prevailed.
There are a lot of goals in this team already, great midfield and a defence that urgently needs to be fixed in the next few windows.
200 mill buys great fixes plus some decent bets on next level stars for attack (of the ilk of Salah when we got him from Roma. )
Just my 2 cents but for the record - I DO NOT want him sold.
Just really don't think is a huge deal if he is.

Although what is better value - a youth player (Quansah) or free (Matip)? Not yet but soon will be of equal contribution.

Completely agree WDW3, the governing bodies lost the ability to pretend they are on the side of the people many years ago.
Don't necessarily like the SL either though, seems replacing one money grabbing c@£t with a differrent money grabbing c@£t.
