Ed002 i see the fat kid from bolton has pretty much got everything wrong for the last few months. its laughable. He now deletes all tweets that he gets wrong. leaving the last transfer post at months if Not years ago. People only look at his twitter for a laugh nowadays
U called it as it was.

The Sandon

{Ed002's Note - As long as they don't start betting on what he says - that would eb terrible.}

1.) 09 Aug 2020 19:29:57
Who the fat kid from Bolton that kfc bloke?

2.) 09 Aug 2020 19:32:37
Simple rule: If The Fat Kid has an exclusive Liverpool transfer to report, we are definitely not signing that player.

Especially if the exclusive comes via the 'mysterious' Hanz.

3.) 09 Aug 2020 20:53:20
Why even bother reading it in the first place. This site is the best since ceefax and teletex.

4.) 09 Aug 2020 20:59:31
Who is the fat kid from Bolton?

5.) 09 Aug 2020 21:28:03
The fat kid from Bolton is TheFirmBL on Twitter. He’s a BS merchant of the worst kind. He wouldn’t know reality if it punched him in the face.

6.) 09 Aug 2020 22:40:10
Hes about 5'6 and 19.5 stone eats loads of KFC and drinks a shed load of stella.

7.) 10 Aug 2020 02:51:03
The Fat Kid From Bolton appears to have a little fan club on here. It seems like people read his tweets just so they can report them back on this site. I have a solution, just don’t read them, if I cared about what he said I would follow him myself.

8.) 10 Aug 2020 10:40:06
Who? He's a nobody, just ignore him. Any old fool can sit behind their pc pretending they know what they're talking about, this fella doesn't, never did and never will.

9.) 10 Aug 2020 12:28:56
If you're stupid enough to place bets on the advice of some clown on Twitter then it's your own hard luck.

10.) 11 Aug 2020 18:23:42
He's saying we've submit a bid for Sarr now.

So yeah, I think we can rule him out of signing based on The Fat Kid's recent record.

24 Jul 2020 20:00:53
Just read that Lovren is off to zenit for £11 million.
One year left on his contract and at 31 years of age, i think we've done well!

The Sandon

1.) 24 Jul 2020 20:36:18
Yes, announced by Paul Joyce. For an amount of £10.9m. I think there will be three more departures over the next two weeks, not including those leaving at the end of contracts.

2.) 25 Jul 2020 08:48:52
That's excellent business considering we paid 20mill.

3.) 25 Jul 2020 12:44:48
Good deal all round if that goes through, he finished with us on a high at least.

Ed002 id let you take me ma out for a chip butty and a pint of babysham.
But not ed025 as he’d tell everyone in the pub that it was like “throwing a welly up an entry”

Ed002, If you haven't got time for another Sharkopod, as you're travelling, have you got time for a quick message of who we've been looking at recently?
I'd love you as much as harry loves ed001 if you do xxxx.

The Sandon

{Ed002's Note - I expect the needs will be for: CB, LM, CM/AM

I would expect Liverpool to look at the midfield next summer and still look to a LM and again an AM - they are two positions where there could be improvement. I suspect that a CB may well need to be added but that ssuming Lovren leaves. Liverpool may look to bolster the HG quota and have looked at Dael Fry (CB), Ben White (CB) and Ben Godfrey (CB). Much will depend on youngsters developing and how Gomez does - assuming Lovren is leaving.

Bilel Hassaini (RW) was looked at several times last season but is in a state of flux right now and you can likely forget him.

Piotr Zielinski (CM/LM) speculative but Klopp has had interest for sometime and he will be one of the Napoli players made available - but would expect to be a starter.

Filip Stevanovic (LW/AM) Partizan Belgrade kiddie who has been watched by Spurs, Borussia Dortmund, Torino, Liverpool, Lazio, Atlanta, Herta Berlin, Werder Bremen and Southampton. And I suspect others. Unlikely to leave until 2021.

Mohammed Daramy (F) kiddie has been looked at and might be seen as a replacement for Liam Miller (F) who has no future at Liverpool and will leave.

Aside from that it is critical that Liverpool identify if any senior players are looking to leave - the more notice they have of that the better the opportunity to plan.}

1.) 15 Nov 2019 16:54:27
thanks for the update ed.

2.) 15 Nov 2019 17:36:07
Ed002 i love u
Youve just earnt yourself an hour with me sister as well xxx.

3.) 16 Nov 2019 09:45:22
Thanks for the post ed just wondering do you expect many senior players leaving likes of lallana kieta possibly milner for example not that I would like any of them to leave before I get slaughtered just lallana rarely features milner comes across like he loves to play week in and week and kieta just doesn't seem to catch a break although all have class.

{Ed002's Note - I expect Lovren to leave, probably Lallana and perhaps Milner. The club will want to see if any of the front three are thinking of leaving.}

4.) 16 Nov 2019 18:12:56
Ed if we are looking at a CM or LM then some would need to leave as you suggest.

{Ed002's Note - The club should now be in the position of minor improvement going forward. When a senior player is moving on there needs to be a good replacement.}

5.) 16 Nov 2019 22:57:29
Cheers Ed. I get exactly what your saying, I just thought we have multiple options for midfield but if Zielinski plays on the left then it would make perfect sense.

6.) 16 Nov 2019 23:02:36
Thank you ed 2.

7.) 17 Nov 2019 18:33:51
Shocked we aren't looking for full back cover Milner is our left full after robbo and Gomez for Trent neither are naturally full backs and they are vital to how we play strange one for me.

{Ed002's Note - Maybe if Liverpool were sell the two excellent young LB s they have who are waiting for a chance the club could look to another “marquee” signing to sit on the bench with Mbappe and the others. You need to get the Adam Lewis and Yasser Larouci “out” campaign going.}

8.) 18 Nov 2019 17:21:35
haha, good one Ed002.
Yes dezy it's shocking! That you haven't been paying attention to the model that's been put in place.
Don't forget the 'Hoever and Neco Out! ' banner at the next game. And that exciting young James Norris needs to be got rid asap. ;)

9.) 20 Nov 2019 05:36:32
I'd really like to see if klopp doesn't target any full backs in the next couple of transfer windows as it would be a positive reflection that he sees enough quality in our younger lads to step up to first team standard. Klopp will know his players better than any of us so his transfer actions in the near future will give us hints as to how the kids are progressing. Be great to see any of Hoever, neco, Lewis, laroucci step up as today's market is seeing hugely overrated full backs costing far more than they're worth. Most top sides have at least 1 back up full back who cost 25/ 30mil+.

I'd like to see our main target be a young energetic pacy wide player who can offer similar direct danger from either wing in the role of salah or mane without having to change our attacking style too much. A young raw player who can be polished into our system and be challenged to earn his position as our front 3 gets freshened up in the near future, this doesn't need to be a marquee proven name, trust our scouts to find another gem.

Lovren will likely need replacing unless we see a huge growth in quality from our teenage CBs.

Shaqiri realistically moving on hopefully can see Jones or Elliot take the chance to stake their worth

Milners contribution is one that is near impossible to replaced but a maturing professional Jordan Henderson soon going into his 30s is as good as anyone around to give us similar attribrutes as Milner showed when called upon to do a job. The likes of keita and OX can be like new signings while the door is open for the youngsters to take their chance. We've seen plenty of examples that klopp doesn't build a squad so black and white with players being replaced directly in or out.
When everyone was screaming for a LB, he used Milner for a year until he identified Robbo as his man.
When everyone was screaming for a CB after we fluffed up VVD deal us fans wanted guys like tarkowski, Keane and lascelles to name a few be urgently signed instead that summer.
When clyne got loaned out when he was used for 1 game in 2 years klopp got ridiculed for bad judgement.
When we didn't replace an ageing injury prone lazy striker who gets 2 or 3 goals a season klopp got criticism despite a younger hungry exciting talent being far more useful than sturridge.
When coutinho was sold for twice his actual value and we didn't instantly throw that silly money to get asensio, Rodriguez, lemar, insigne or those other players so called like for like. Instead the OX improved the team in coutinhos absence despite 6 months previous his signing getting slaughtered for a waste of money.
This summer everyone screaming we need to keep Harry Wilson, and we need a creative mega money signing like fernandes, zaha, Pepe as examples who were the missing link. Within the last 2 seasons I've regularly seen calls for matip, lovren, Henderson, wijnaldum, origi to be urgently upgraded while signings of Robertson and oxlade Chamberlain were scrutinised as poor by many who instead were purring to see guys like kolasinac or kovacic instead.

My point is that our current setup is built on subtle tweaks over time and adjusting at a pace that doesn't disrupt much within the squad. The likes of emre can, coutinho, Moreno, sturridge, sakho were easily let go without needing to replace and we've always improved anyway. Lallana and shaqiri currently don't need replacements as they offer near zero contribution. Since lallana was last important to our performances we've added OX, Fabinho, keita and shaqiri. Since shaqiri was last playing 10 months ago we've added OX, origi and a fit keita into contention who weren't available when shaq was playing. Youngsters can fill those roles.

I think we only need a raw pacy winger and maybe a defender if lovren is out. We should be looking at where we struggle in our play when not at full strength and target those signings. When salah or mane aren't both playing, our whole build up play suffers. Origi Brewster or shaqiri offer different things but we need a player in the pacy winger mould as priority I think. Defence only needs strengthening if klopp can't trust 2 of our young defenders to be called on if robbo, a CB or Trent need to be filled in. The likes of city, spurs, Chelsea, United and arsenal have all recently spent big money on overpriced defenders who often end sitting on the bench or unhappy.
For me our midfield right now is the strongest it's ever been under klopp. Fabinho, OX, keita all still mid 20s, Henderson and wijnaldum late 20s and have both shown since the start of 2019 they have finally grown into game changing leaders capable of grabbing games by the scruff when previously they spent years going missing. Milner then is the perfect option to use his versatility and still playing to the standards of an elite footballer. Ox and keita will only get better and stronger while the others are peaking, . Not important for me to go messing with that midfield unless Milner and keita both leave next summer. Grujic or curtis Jones can hopefully slot in.

Common theme during the summer was everyone claiming our lack of transfers was going to be our downfall this year but history always shows that a squad that is settled and happy is the best set up to enjoy a few years of success and also these teams tend to often see youngsters breaking through more than most. When Ferguson was building a united team to dominate for a couple of seasons he only ever tweaked it slightly with transfers when the team was balanced and strong already. Milan around the mid 00s used the same core for seasons and grew into the best team around until they started to overhaul with signings. Barcas dominance then under rijkaard and pep was enjoyed for years with nearly just 1 player being changed per season. Bayern were winning for years with virtually the same squad kept together. Real madrid recently won many CL titles with navas carvajal, ramos, modric, kroos, casemeiro, bale, benzema, Ronaldo all virtually playing together the last 5 or 6 years. City signed just 1 player the summer after they got 100 points. They won the treble the next season.
Chelsea have shown they can have 1 strong season but without a settled team over the last 15 years they can never build on their success for more than a season. Spurs enjoyed the 2 best seasons they've had in the premier league and Europe while they never made a transfer in that time, they've weakened as a team since they added some new transfers who haven't been improvements. Chelsea under lampard look a real likeable team who are flowing with confidence, his transfer ban has let him work with a settled young hungry team. Leicesters starting 11 has only ayoze Perez added to it while an unsettled Maguire was shown the door.
Teams like Norwich, villa, Everton struggling this year as they changed so many players, Fulham last year.

Only sign players if you have to, if your squad is already in a shape to win and still showing signs of improving then don't mess with it unless important players have to leave which is less likely to occur in a settled team destined for glory. Klopp wanted lovren to stay another season im guessing because he didn't want to have to buy a replacement when he might believe that another season will see one of the young lads ready, Moreno not replaced, sturridge being let go and Brewster slowly integrated into his spot. We're in an excellent position of strength right now so nothing major needs adjusting I hope.

The Sandon

I’m just glad the Caicedo saga is over. No one is bigger than the club. Would like to see Lavia and Florentino or Tchouaméni as well as a LCB. But now we know we have the resources on a big signing we should test Madrid’s resolve for another player who I think is the better of the two, although both a class and that’s Camavinga. Madrid will probably try to bring Mbappe in this window and we should offer them a way to facilitate that with a big bid for Camavinga. Whether they would sell and whether either Tchouaméni or Camavinga would want to move is another matter.

2.) 12 Aug 2023 20:38:04
I think they will be going down now. They will be very lucky to stay up.

3.) 12 Aug 2023 20:58:47
Ah leave the blues alone just cos were disappointed?.

4.) 12 Aug 2023 20:24:02
How dare you Sandon. They are the people’s club! A name they gave themselves to deflect from the fact that they haven’t won a trophy in a generation.

Goodison used to be a tough place to go but nowadays the Everton fans do half the job for you.

5.) 12 Aug 2023 21:48:27
Not one in your mention is coming over to LFC @Alonso. We will sign a random Portuguese or French!

6.) 12 Aug 2023 21:48:34
I’d be happy with Valverde, Tchouameni and, due to a paperwork malfunction (maybe a misplaced fax? ) Gvardiol too, Alonso ?.

7.) 12 Aug 2023 21:14:39
Take it easy lads. Ed25 is a great guy. His thick skinned but a first game loss always sucks.

I think Luton and Sheffield United will likely go down and that leaves one spot. I think Everton have enough about them to just about survive again. They ll scrap those points you don't expect.

It would be a great help to get a semi decent scorer in the door. I hope they get some reasonable signings in the door to give them a lift.

{Ed025's Note - cheers davey. I think once we get a decent striker we will be ok mate..

8.) 12 Aug 2023 22:45:09
1995 ed ???.

9.) 13 Aug 2023 07:10:09
Ed25, you’ve been saying that for years now and still no dice. You’ll need a lot more help than that, mate.

{Ed025's Note - our financial plight means it’s very difficult Oli. Good player don’t want to come to a struggling club like ours and it’s difficult to get rid of our mediocre players who are on very high wages mate. Really bad management has got us up crap creek without a paddle I’m afraid. But I still live in hope that we have enough to do ok if we can secure a decent finisher..

Ed025 my old mate, what's going on across the park? Signing a 38 year old has-been?
No money to spend so kenright is shopping at kwiksave?

The Sandon

{Ed025's Note - its money problems Sandon pure and simple, we are shopping in the bargain basement mate and thats no surprise to us really, 38 is the same age as Milly so if he can do a job and hes on a free why not..

1.) 12 Jul 2023 07:43:32
Really puts into perspective what bargain basement signings actually look like.

2.) 12 Jul 2023 04:44:10
Everton to finally go down I reckon this season. Thoughts ed25?

{Ed025's Note - I think we will be there or thereabouts marty but hopefully with Dyche at the helm we might just scramble to safety mate but I won’t be putting any money on it..

3.) 12 Jul 2023 09:04:42
Think Everton will finally go down this season ed?

{Ed025's Note - just survive I think marty..

4.) 12 Jul 2023 10:06:22
I remember "we shop at Catalan, you shop at Matalan" not so many years ago. If they don't add some steel and goals to that side then I think this will be the year our bloo neighbours finally lose the battle against gravity. The charge over the FFP situation surely isn't helping either.

{Ed025's Note - it will be another war of attrition I expect flash. Having Dyche will help though mate..

5.) 12 Jul 2023 11:01:37
Is there a points deduction still on the cards? If there is and Everton give everybody a 12 - 18 points start it’s going to be a big ask for them.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing is on the cards until there has been a hearing and appeal and another appeal....}

6.) 12 Jul 2023 11:03:27
Dyche grew up locally to me Ed, he's still got a reputation as being a no nonsense battler. But it's well known he's actually a red.
But even he can't do much if the squad continues to be weakened instead of strengthened.
I suspect that the damage the Everton board has done runs very deep and there will be a price to pay this season.

7.) 12 Jul 2023 10:43:46
I think Ed025 is probably right, with Dyche in charge for a full season he'll make them a little more difficult to beat and they'll probably be in a much better position at the end of next season than they were the season just gone. He's used to working on little or no budget.

If ever Everton were going to go down it was last season, surely they can't be worse than that this coming season!?

{Ed025's Note - I hope you’re right 2 Shoes. But don’t put your house on it mate..

So Steve who works in the local chippy, spoke to a hair dresser who’s married to a pilot.

The pilot is having an affair with one of the air hostesses and you’ll never guess who she saw on an easyJet flight from Scandinavia? Christian Poulson! Apparently we’ve offered him a 6 year deal.

2.) 31 Jan 2023 20:49:10
Sander Berge aboard the Babelcopter. Loan with obligation to buy.

3.) 31 Jan 2023 20:54:34
Jonjo shelves is having a medical right now, loan until the end of the season. No rumour, genuine fact.

4.) 31 Jan 2023 20:55:08
Snoogy Doogie, Bozo Texino and Ken Aguero all joining. Jim white is literally fizzing at the bunghole with excitement.

5.) 31 Jan 2023 21:03:02
Fun fact of the day. My old man told me that Patrik Berger had a brother called “cheese”.
And I believed it for about 6 years.

6.) 31 Jan 2023 21:05:30
Where have you been all day! LFC have completed a loan deal today, we have resigned Natasha Dowie from Reading.

7.) 31 Jan 2023 21:14:20
Christian Poulson Was the biggest anticlimax of a transfer window in history ahahaha
Id take sean dundee, PAUL KONCHESKY or BERNARD DIOMEDE at this rate.

8.) 31 Jan 2023 21:36:08
Just seen Michael Owen outside Anfield

He still can’t get over the fact we didn’t want him back.

9.) 31 Jan 2023 21:53:31
As Alanis Morissette said “Isn’t it ironic” - I think the women’s team has signed three midfielders in this window ?.

2.) 22 Oct 2022 08:39:10
why would he learn English when he'll be back in Italy having not played a game?

3.) 22 Oct 2022 09:05:00
Allison and virg also mentioned nunez learning English. I thought that's great he's putting in the effort and especially as players like keita didn't who also cost a fortune.

4.) 22 Oct 2022 09:24:59
It baffles the mind as to why learning the local language, wherever you are, is not a bare minimum.

5.) 22 Oct 2022 10:23:08
Has anyone ever tried holding a conversation with Naby to confirm he can’t speak English?

6.) 22 Oct 2022 10:56:48
I spoke to him once in English JK. I asked him if he'll ever put in a shift and he just stared at me blankly.

7.) 22 Oct 2022 11:06:12
Hush now JK - you’ll spoil their world of make believe.

{Ed002's Note - Keita has learned very basic English otherwise he cannot remain playing in England.}
