It is now time to say to Klopp we have had 7 wonderful years but the time has come to move on. The players are not responding anymore and Klopp has no ideas to turn this around. It is sad to see but all good things come to an end eventually.

TheOne23

{Ed025's Note - massive over reaction..

1.) 09 Oct 2022 22:58:48
7 wonderful years, but a dozen games over rules them. Fine logic there mate.

Kloop out, Big Sam in to steady the ship.

2.) 09 Oct 2022 23:01:41
These people who keep saying Klopp is done just need to stop. Give it a f'ing rest. He is still one of the best managers in the world and we should all celebrate the fact that he is with us. Who could we get that is better? No one. Just stop.

3.) 09 Oct 2022 23:28:14
TheOne23 - NO IT IS NOT!

Stone - well said!

4.) 09 Oct 2022 23:33:51
Quite right, Ed025, SR and stone but feel free to move on to another club with another manager, TheOne23.
Will changing the manager bring back the good times?
The way fans are turning on Klopp is embarrassing.

5.) 09 Oct 2022 23:52:01
move on now and it'll be another 7 years in the wilderness wondering what happened.

6.) 10 Oct 2022 01:03:44
Would we have won the League and the CL with another manager?
Maybe with Gladioli but he does it at clubs like Barcelona, Bayern and City.
Klopp has delivered what he said he would, raised our expectations to such levels and now some of you want to get rid of him!
Talk about the goose that laid the golden egg.

7.) 10 Oct 2022 03:25:58
If we’re still here in a years time then we need to ask that question, but you have to look at these things logically and ask what is the next best alternative. There still isn’t any other manager in the world I would rather have, talking of sacking In October after a really bad run is reactionary nonsense.

Having said that, make no mistake that this is all his fault and his alone. I’m not having any of this FSG conspiracy nonsense. He needs to pull his finger out quickly and stop mollycoddling these under performing players. The change of formation and hookings are a good start but it isn’t enough. van Dijk and Trent need a period on the sidelines. Nunez and Jota need to be starting games. And where is Curtis Jones?

8.) 10 Oct 2022 03:28:05
But few things need to change, TAA needs to be taken out of firing line All the teams attack down our right mostly sensing a mistake.

Play salah uptop with nunez, one goal will lead to many.

Midfield we need 2 sitting and allowing 4 attackers to score.

Let's continue this formation till WC.

9.) 10 Oct 2022 04:29:56
Ok I'll take the bait, who are we going to replace him with? Ancelotti or Guardiola? Because that's his level! Fans should support the team and stop crying for new stuff everytime something doesn't go out way, it's a rough patch, we'll get through it.

10.) 10 Oct 2022 04:43:55
Stick Ramsey or Gomez at RB and try Trent at right mid. He plays so far forward anyway and we need more bodies in midfield. Either way, he’s been found out and every team we play is targeting him where he is.

11.) 09 Oct 2022 22:58:33
Ed 025 mate up too your old tricks again ?, this is a massive nose dive of form key players to me look to have lost faith in the message or just can't get to that level, fsg wouldn't want klopp gone, but he might walk if this carries on out of pride.

{Ed025's Note - it’s not great at the moment hailstones. Too many players out of form and an ageing squad which has made the winning of the premiership almost impossible now mate. Playing with 10 men every game doesn’t help either because salah has not shown up for the last 8 months and looks a shadow of his former self. He needs dropping but a lack of a viable replacement means he won’t..

12.) 09 Oct 2022 22:59:05
Im very disappointed but I have to agree with Ed025 that wanting to be rid of klopp is a massive over reaction. He can only do so much with the players he’s got. If they aren’t performing, then the players should take responsibility.

13.) 10 Oct 2022 07:45:46
Salah has been as bad as VVD, Trent and Fabs. You could easily argue out 4 main players have been our worst players this season. But Klopp has been just as bad. We have been crap this year, let’s have it right. But Klopp has earned the right to try to turn it around or sink.

14.) 10 Oct 2022 09:44:44
Hey OP, maybe it is you who needs to move one after X amount of wonderful years you've had supporting the club. Go on; You can go first out the door.

20 Aug 2022 21:30:49
2 draws from the first 2 games. Nunez out for three and in my opinion a complete waste of money. I'm wondering if Klopp has taken us as far as he can and we are in the decline of Klopp at Liverpool. I fear he may have run out of ideas.

TheOne23

{Ed014's Note - OMG this truly wins dickless post of the summer!?‍♂️

1.) 20 Aug 2022 21:59:28
I don’t like the signing of Nunez but I have to agree
With the Ed on this one ?.

2.) 20 Aug 2022 22:04:35
It REALLY is all about opinions, love it ??.

{Ed014's Note - oh, that was an opinion, my bad!?

3.) 20 Aug 2022 22:13:42
Klopp has run out of ideas? You have no idea whatsoever.

4.) 20 Aug 2022 22:20:49
I’m not going to lie I’ve never watched Nunez before and when we played them away first game i thought this guy could be good if he stayed on his feet. Then the 2nd game I was blown away with how he literally tore us apart. So far I’ve not seen that player but it’s a big step up for him and I think he needs and deserves the full support of the fan base for as long as possible.

Interesting fact is before todays game he had the most shots in the league (9) despite only playing I think it was 97 mins of football. He also recorded 4 chances inside the 6 yard box where Salah’s record in a full season was 13 inside the 6 yard box. That tells us that the lad is going to have plenty and plenty of chances. He might not be the answer to us being more clinical but he should score goals.

5.) 20 Aug 2022 22:35:11
Spot on Ed…. the amount negative comments on this site is getting pathetic! I have read this site for about 10 years and we’re in the best position in all that time, yet the comments are just so negative and dramatic.

It is too early to judge Nunez…he messed up big time, clearly has things in his game to work on however, his movement is good, physical presence and can clearly sniff out a goal. I personally think he will be good for us.

{Ed014's Note - I just can’t get my head around it mate, every other club bar one would love your squad and manager.

6.) 20 Aug 2022 23:02:14
The pressure managers of top clubs are under is tremendous, Jurgen has never gone more than seven seasons at one of his previous clubs Mainz (2001-2008) Borussia Dortmund (2008-2015) currently Liverpool 2015-2022 (seven years) .

Bill Shankly resigned from Liverpool, Sir Kenny Dalglish resigned though his departure was unavoidable. Both of them were on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Sir Bob Paisley ended up with Alzheimers in his later life that's a loss of memory, thinking and behaviour was this because of the football management pressures we will never know.

Alex Ferguson had Brain Surgery for a blood clot, again was this because of the mental strains he was under as a football manager. Gerard Houllier had to be rushed from Anfield to Broadgreen hospital during a Liverpool home game for a life saving operation, again was this due to stress, nerves and the worries of being a top manager.

Sir Jock Stein could not be saved like Houllier, he had a fatal heart attack during an international game in Wales, was this also because of the massive mental pressures top, top managers are under.

I have concerns that Jurgen who after all is only human, could well follow the above managers, obviously i wish him good health and happiness for the future, as no one knows bar him what worries, nerves and mental concerns he has, because as i say the pressure and strains of a modern manager are mentally absolutely tremendous.

7.) 20 Aug 2022 23:18:33
Obvious troll is obvious.

0 out of 10 mate.

8.) 21 Aug 2022 01:07:23
2 games into season and Darwin is a waste of money and Klopp is about to have a brain aneurysm ?.

9.) 21 Aug 2022 05:34:18
Just waiting for someone to bring up the Klopp lost his brain when Buvac left narrative again
???.

10.) 21 Aug 2022 08:31:14
As they say all good things gs co. e to those that wait Darwin will come good I'd bet on it and he will end up destroying premier defences no doubt.

11.) 21 Aug 2022 09:36:23
There really needs to be some kind of virtual gallery on this site where the dumbest posts get framed and immortalised so we can laugh at them at a later stage. This one takes the biscuit IMO along with ‘why are we buying a second-rate left back from Hull City’ and ‘Salah couldn’t t cut it in the Premier League’.

12.) 21 Aug 2022 09:51:14
Darwin will come good? He hasn't had the chance to go bad yet!

13.) 21 Aug 2022 09:08:51
To be fair the op has a valid point. Klopp had this happen in germany. Not wanting it to happen again but there's a big possibility history could repeat it's self for klopp.
Let's hope the lads get it together and go on a nice unbeaten run starting at the utd game.

14.) 21 Aug 2022 10:54:57
The OP is right, Klopp has reached his limit. I would appoint Big Sam or Alan Pardew now before we are dragged into a relegation fight.

15.) 21 Aug 2022 12:13:23
Unapologetically negative- You’re almost right. Klopp had an injury crisis that severely impacted Dortmund first half of loops last season. Then their plates came back and they stormed back up the table.

16.) 21 Aug 2022 12:57:44
Clearly a troll.

Comparing Klopp's tenure at Dortmund to his one at Liverpool is becoming less and less relevant as time goes by.

City are not Bayern in that they cannot pick of Liverpool's best players season after season.

Liverpool are shopping and paying salaries at the top end of the market - apart from the freak deals for the likes of Mbappe and Haaland. The fact that we can buy and keep Virgil, Fabinho, Alisson and Salah is evidence of that. Liverpool is a destination club.

Buvac is long gone. Klopp has evolved his methods with Lijnders and Matos.

The only two criticisms I can lay at Klopp are that 1) he needs to decide on what system he wants as in my opinion, the transition from the juggernaut 18/ 19 and 19/ 20 system to the Thiago era has not quite been perfected and 2) he (and his transfer team as it must be collective) are gambling seasons in the wait for the perfect player.

17.) 21 Aug 2022 13:03:03
Faith you are correct there was improvements after the players came back. However the premier league is much stronger.
My fear is if we don't start getting 3 points we might struggle for top four.
I predicted a 3rd place finish this season with city 1st spurs second. If Chelsea and Arsenal keep on playing well we really could come unstuck.

18.) 21 Aug 2022 13:30:18
Feels he is getting the same treatment as Peter Crouch. It is all to do with confidence and adapt to new team set up.
Give the guy some time at least to prove himself.

19.) 21 Aug 2022 14:12:34
Fly Pelican you make some valid points, but the only reason why buy VVD and Allison etc is because we sold Coutinho.
We are a sell to buy club which is the thing hindering Klopp.

20.) 21 Aug 2022 15:08:47
Frode - Coutinho wanted to leave, to the point he was faking injuries. For once, we pulled Barca’s pants down on the fee, unlike the Suarez and Mascherano deals. Virgil was lined up without the Phil proceeds. Granted Alisson, the most expensive keeper in world football at the time, was probably only possible with the Phil money.

Any examples other than Coutinho?

Like other clubs, we buy and sell players with the money we generate. We bought Diaz with no sales made. We bought Darwin for a record fee before selling anyone. We moved on players who wanted more playing time, for fees where possible.

I’m pretty sure money to buy a decent midfielder is available. That’s the only issue at the moment, along with system tweaks.

What we can’t afford to do is set fire to money like some other clubs can.

21.) 21 Aug 2022 16:02:53
You can’t write the season off after two disappointing draws that’s for sure. Won’t go into my usual rant about needing a midfielder!

16 Jul 2022 16:44:17
Will Nunez be a flop?

TheOne23

{Ed0666's Note - how can anyone answer that question with any certainty? What a dumb thing to post. The guy hasn’t even made his premiership debut yet and people are writing him off. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous.

1.) 16 Jul 2022 17:18:18
Hes been with us 5 x minutes for Christ sake. Look at Firmino 1st season. We all hope he hits ground running but it could take a little more time. Get behind all the players and have faith.

{Ed0666's Note - in the few seconds I’ve seen him in preseason he’s already shown that he possesses stellar movement which is near enough impossible to defend. When he gets his shooting boots on he’ll be a proper weapon. Writing him off after two 30 minute showings in preseason is just absolute folly.

2.) 16 Jul 2022 17:31:29
Darwin going to be a beast for us ?

Give the kid time, most players need some time to settle into klopps system and this is a young kid just coming over to England for the first time. He will be an awesome player for us in time, just don’t jump on he media bandwagon of judging him after a few games.

3.) 16 Jul 2022 17:47:29
There's the urge to post and there's very little to talk about in the off season aside from transfers. But could you at least make the effort to make it sound interesting? That was not only faster than a knee-jerk but even faster than a bullet. Geez.

4.) 16 Jul 2022 17:48:02
Stay off Twitter kids. It leaves you unable to form a thought for yourself.

5.) 16 Jul 2022 17:54:03
That’s possibly the dumbest thing I’ve read today. And I’ve seen a Nadine Dorries tweet earlier.

{Ed0666's Note - Sattire I love it ??

6.) 16 Jul 2022 18:04:26
He's played less than two halves of football. Why is this even a question?

7.) 16 Jul 2022 18:06:05
What an idiotic post. Surely a man u fan in disguise. Utter tripe. Please go away!

8.) 16 Jul 2022 18:09:05
The same way we started to write off Peter Crouch. Then he started to score lots of goals.

9.) 16 Jul 2022 18:59:56
I’ve seen you tube clips of him looking quality and I’ve also seen the clips of him making mistakes than the Utd fans have put together to try and mock the signing.

The only way I can and choose to judge him is his 2 performances against us last season. 1st leg he looked very good with his only negative being he went to ground far too easily and then in the 2nd leg he possibly had the best game against us that I’ve seen any forward have in a very long time. He was outstanding.

He might or might not hit the ground running but he’s going to get my support to the very end.

Let’s hope his build up play is better than Jota’s though otherwise he might be getting the pelters that Jota gets despite banging in 20 plus goals a season.

10.) 16 Jul 2022 19:10:14
Are you even a Liverpool fan, as that sounds like a City question?

11.) 16 Jul 2022 19:22:01
NO! because he is not british. simple.

12.) 16 Jul 2022 19:39:12
Nadine Dorries is not a name I expected to see on these pages. Possibly the worst mp we have and when we have the likes of bojo and the guy from beano that says something!

As for Nunez I’m sure the lad will bed in, the price tag will naturally bring out numpties who will expect him to do everything perfect.

I saw one video yesterday saying he was trash because he miscontrolled it once, how dare he?

But once he starts banging them in that should keep them at bay.

13.) 16 Jul 2022 20:13:19
Only utd fans trying to heap pressure on him because he turned them down . How the bloody hell would u judge a player in pre season friendlies. Glorified training sessions.

14.) 16 Jul 2022 20:32:43
Well the mancs sure have him written off already lad's. They should leave their judgement to signing CB's ?.

{Ed014's Note - if they actually sign a decent player in any position it’ll be a first for about 15yrs! ?

15.) 16 Jul 2022 23:13:57
JK23. Your approach of being logical, rational and methodical in your opinions and assessments is ill advised. You know damn well it doesn't go down well out here. ?.

16.) 17 Jul 2022 00:40:25
In around two seasons the amount paid for Nunez will probably be 100th highest transfer in the premier league thanks to the lunacy of transfer fees these days. We paid a bit for a potentially great player. But we needed to replace a player and had to pay a bit. I remember when the world was shocked when zidane signed for Madrid for 50 million. ZIDANE! Imagine what he’d go for nowadays? Probably nothing because nobody could afford him. So he’d go for a bowman. Anyway- kinda went on a ramble there. I think my point was zidane was an awesome player.

17.) 17 Jul 2022 01:06:40
The opening poster has only asked a simple question, inflammatory as it may be.
There are some precious souls on here.

18.) 16 Jul 2022 22:36:37
Very very true Ed014.

{Ed014's Note - well they have purchased some utter garbage and now chasing a player who doesn’t even want to go there!?‍♂️?

19.) 16 Jul 2022 20:58:31
Perhaps we should buy a midfielder then it would take the pressure off him. Does anyone know if the club is looking at any midfield players we might buy? I’ve tried the search function but can’t find anything about midfield transfers.

Thought it was my go to ask a stupid question.

20.) 17 Jul 2022 09:31:33
Can Barcelona force DeJong to go even if he doesn't want to? Why would Utd bother to chase a player who doesn't want to join them Ed?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

21.) 17 Jul 2022 09:41:26
Nothing to do with United and you still can’t help talking about them ?.

22.) 17 Jul 2022 09:46:59
I personally think that everybody was surprised with how quickly Diaz settled and performed! He quite frankly hit the ground running, we can't expect every new player to adapt so quickly. The fans will get behind Nunez, and I'm sure by the time the season starts Klopp will have the team playing to the lads strengths, it may take him time to settle but I'm sure his quality will shine through .

23.) 17 Jul 2022 13:06:09
Stand. People in glass houses. You are on a liverpool page my man. United are the joke that keeps on giving.

24.) 17 Jul 2022 14:21:02
Stand-United. There are days where you come on here and compliment us and it's appreciated. But, and it's a big but, there are days you come on here cruising for a bruising. You're lucky it's the weekend, nobody is around, otherwise there'd be a flash mob doing a dance on your flat a*s given the state of affairs at your club. ??.

25.) 17 Jul 2022 20:04:46
OP, only time will tell. Are you going to stick around to find out, then?

26.) 17 Jul 2022 20:04:46
OP, only time will tell. Are you going to stick around to find out, then?

27.) 17 Jul 2022 23:19:52
I like the looks of Nunez. He works hard and is willing runner. Atm he is being hampered because of the lack of understanding between him and the team. He is making runs that they aren't seeing and not making runs that they are expecting. I reckon it might take 6 months for him to "get" Klopps system but once he does Im expecting him to explode.

Same thing happened at Benfica - his stats in the second half of his first season were way more impressive than the first half (even allowing for the injury) . And then in his second year he was asked to change his style yet again and responded magnificently. the question is will he be able to ignore the muppets and keep his head clear in the meantime.

28.) 18 Jul 2022 04:30:37
Man Utd are relevant here as Liverpool beat them to sign Nunez. As they did to sign Calvin Ramsay. Its fine though as Ronaldo is desperate to stay and Martial is like a new signing.
