Ki Jana Hoever to wolves for £10 mjill. Seems luike our academy is having a bigger impact than first team fringe players.

The only difference between Shaqiri and James Rodriguez is that the former is not liked by the manager. Shaqiri ooozes in class. He is no winger. such a lovely player in the hole. Good first touch, neat passing very in tellegent reading the game.

Tyrion Lannister

{Ed025's Note - oh yeah i forgot harry, because after all shaq has won a world cup golden boot and played for 2 of the biggest clubs on the planet winning numerous titles...come on mate get a grip..

1.) 25 Sep 2020 08:21:06
Why even respond Ed?

{Ed025's Note - i know burkey, i just cant help myself mate.. :)

2.) 25 Sep 2020 09:07:57
Not like Shaqiri has suffered a load of injuries which drastically reduced the amount of appearances he would've made for us, right? Or were all his injuries caused during arguments with Klopp?

3.) 25 Sep 2020 08:49:14
In fairness Ed025, Shaqiri has also passed that litmus test for the foreign footballer of being able to play well on a freezing cold grim evening in Stoke (see also Burnley, Middlesbrough etc), if Rodriguez is still playing well when the weather turns grim, he’ll do alright. I think there is still a suspicion he could do a DiMaria, in that he looked a great signing in late summer early autumn when the weather was nice, but once it started raining and going cold, he didn’t fancy it one bit.

{Ed025's Note - you cant judge him yet though 6times, if that does come to pass then you may have a point mate but lets just see how things play out mate..

4.) 25 Sep 2020 08:50:22
You can’t compare Shaq with Rodriguez. Over the last few Seasons Shaq hasn’t been picked because he’s always been injured. Rodriguez want picked because he wasn’t deemed good enough 👀🎣.

{Ed025's Note - the only sensible thing i get from that is that you cant compare the two JK, shaq is behind origi in the pecking order for christs sake which telly you everything you need to know mate..

5.) 25 Sep 2020 09:52:28
To be fair Ed, he's played for bayern and Liverpool, THE 2 best teams on the planet right now. Admittedly, he hasn't played much, but either has James these last 2 seasons.

{Ed025's Note - he was a decent player at one time rugby but hes shot now mate, a cameo appearance against the lower lights is about his limit i would say..

6.) 25 Sep 2020 10:03:40
Get in there Tyrion 👍🏻
We all know that Ed025 will soon come to rue the mention of the name James 🤣.

{Ed025's Note - oh sit down.. :)

7.) 25 Sep 2020 13:34:44
ed025 I would sell Shaq but he has played for Bayern Inter and Liverpool. In 3 years at Bayern he did win 3 Bundesliga's I don't know about cups and the Champions League. He as won the Champions League and premier league with us. And as for the world cup El-Hadji Diouf looked good. lol
Only time will tell with how good James Rodriguez but I don't know why people all ways have to compare players ed I see one the other day who was best Peter Beardsley or Glen Hoddle who asks this S***.
Good luck for the season anyway ed I would love to go back to the mid 80s where we are both fighting it out.
YNWA.

{Ed025's Note - so would i grino mate..

8.) 25 Sep 2020 14:33:29
Ed0025 only winding you up mate. Rodriguez can be a wonderful player on his day. Over the last few seasons there seems to have been less and less of those days. He’s started well with you boys and his challenge now is to continue this form. I like Shaq but injuries have really disrupted him the last few seasons and he’s a very good square peg in a team with round holes. What I mean is I think he’s a good player but he doesn’t really fit into or replace anyone in our system. Can’t offer what the front 3 do and although he has quality on the ball his body isn’t up to working as hard as Klopp wants the midfield 3 to. But saying that he offers a good option from the bench or a plan b.

9.) 25 Sep 2020 14:36:45
I do hope everyone is joking. You all are joking right?

10.) 26 Sep 2020 04:46:03
Both players in term of style and positions they like are actually very similar if both were fit and consistently playing to their best. I'm not going to make pointless comparisons but on their day both can be capable of magic. Shaqiri has lit up the world cup in his career also, scoring worldies and being one of the challengers for top scorer. If you look at James over the last 2 seasons he would not have likely been a success for Liverpool. Shaqiri actually would be a player who I'd see being a good fit for Everton like Rodriguez is showing to be. They've been crying out for that creativity from a wide attacker for a while now. Their struggles with form and consistency for a few seasons seem to mirror how Erikson and ozil have lost their ability to be lethal playmakers when playing with confidence.

11.) 26 Sep 2020 04:44:47
"oh sit down" best reply ever ed025! Very good.

Shaq has played for some big clubs too. As nd has played in a weaker national team than Rodriguez.

It might of only been Lincoln but it wasn't long ago that shaq was doing the business against Barcelona.

I think james will probably thrive being the main man, and he has solid players around him to look after him. Away on a Wednesday evening at turf Moor in January? We'll see. I wouldn't bet against him being a success and earning another big move (only joking)

{Ed025's Note - time will tell i suppose robbie..

Danny Ings is my biggest regret as a Liverpool fan. What a player #EPL #SOUTOT
It’s such a shame we couldn’t fit him in. Second best striker in the league after Aguero.

Tyrion Lannister

1.) 22 Sep 2020 09:42:58
It's not a case of we couldn't fit him in, he had two horrible injuries and the club needed to keep rolling. Then by the time he recovered he needed regular game time ahead of Bobby so he had no chance. The move was best for him and glad he's doing well.

2.) 22 Sep 2020 09:46:08
A great player, it's just sh*te how unlucky he was here the poor bugger. A true professional player, I have nothing but respect for him and hope he continues playing as good as he has been. When everyone thought he was down and out, he bounces back like this? remarkable really. Good luck to the lad.

3.) 22 Sep 2020 09:47:46
A clear joke.

4.) 22 Sep 2020 09:48:18
We’ve done quite well since he left Harry if I’m honest.

Delighted it’s going well for him at Southampton.

You’re next target for abuse appears to be Bobby. A player you used to w@nk over before we signed him.

5.) 22 Sep 2020 09:52:03
Harry keep posting mate i know you get a lot of stick on here but you are entertaining. Its great to see Ings doing well at Southampton but i believe if he hadn't have moved there then he wouldn't be the player he is today. He's been excellent the last 14 months but I'd disagree that he is the 2nd best striker in the league mate but we all entitled to our opinions.

6.) 22 Sep 2020 09:52:05
I was sad to see him go, but he wouldn’t have had as much game time with us. Excellent player and I’m glad he’s flourished.

7.) 22 Sep 2020 10:31:36
Great to see him playing so well - had a terrible run of luck with injuries so kudos that he’s had the mental strength to bounce back.

8.) 22 Sep 2020 11:00:46
Maybe your club City could buy him Harry to replace Aguero.

9.) 22 Sep 2020 12:46:52
Some petty replies as usual when Harry posts.
You don't rate Kane, Harry?

10.) 22 Sep 2020 14:40:44
Keep posting your opinions, Harry, and ignore the baiting. can't say i often agree with you but its good to have an agitator to stimulate a bit of debate.

11.) 22 Sep 2020 18:50:37
Love Ings. Still watch him at Saints. Wished he did not have those injuries cos he is a true Klopp player. Just super happy he has a career and is killing it right now and in a year or so, he will go to a big club, IMO. Something his attitude ability and lion's heart, truly deserves.

21 Sep 2020 11:39:38
Anyone noticed Thiago unlocked he Holland version of Wijnaldum yesterday. The Holland version of Wiji is a proper baller. isn't he?

Tyrion Lannister

1.) 21 Sep 2020 12:32:58
Def noticed Gini appearing in the box on right hand side and looking good in 2nd half. Could be a new role for him for sure. Salah looked better in 2nd half too.

2.) 21 Sep 2020 12:44:36
He is a brilliant player when played to his strength, though his current role is utterly awful and underused. He has to play high up and that is where he plays for Holland.

3.) 21 Sep 2020 13:31:00
So
Thiago - 75 passed in a freaking half
Gini - oooh that freedom he loves gini 2.0 aka holland pack is unlocked
Hendo - that pass. Leader
Milner - leader off the pitch. Multi utility
Fab - fab defending, fab breaking play
Keita - meh.

4.) 21 Sep 2020 14:02:22
Keita is fine Akrubbish. The lad is quality. he will come into the rhythm soon. Expecting him to score against Arsenal.

5.) 21 Sep 2020 15:12:41
Wouldn't say he unleashed him, Gini has got into the box plenty before scoring important goals. Was probably as much to do with how dominant we were. Rarely had to worry about defending. I do see that as an option though, especially if Thiago has playing alongside Fab or Hendo. We have a rediculous amount of options in the middle now though so who knows what 3 will play most.

6.) 21 Sep 2020 15:53:44
Expecting Keita to be on the bench against Arsenal.

7.) 21 Sep 2020 17:57:40
Keita was pretty average, IMO.

18 Sep 2020 15:17:07
Ki Jana Hoever played some 4 games for us while Brewster did not even play a single game and both has higher ceiling than @Big Daddy big boy Divock" and Free kick man Wilson. Other than us nobody rates our first team fringe players.

Tyrion Lannister

1.) 18 Sep 2020 15:34:21
Harry, in English please.

2.) 18 Sep 2020 16:25:58
You are obsessed with our fringe players.

3.) 18 Sep 2020 18:23:04
Daretodream, Sarr is reportedly off to Utd.

17 Sep 2020 10:23:03
Jurgen Klopp before signing Naby Keita: "Keita is the best player in the league. I’d have preferred him this season! Last year together with Thiago Alcantara they were the best in the league. ”

Now Klopp will have both players at Liverpool.

Tyrion Lannister

1.) 17 Sep 2020 11:14:01
Klopp has always loved Thiago since his days as BVB manager and clearly, the feeling has always been mutual.

Not sure how exactly is Real going to raise £190 mill from sales. A lot of their players are too old to generate anything significant in the transfer fee or they are on massive wages. they seem doomed. If this remains how would they sign Mbappe next summer ED02?

I am happy how Napoli is treated by clubs. They are one of the most difficult cløubs to negotiate. Just hope PSG rip them off.

I took dog abuse for saying a few truths about origi the other week. yesterday proved why I was right about him. He is at David Ngog levels. The team has moved ten levels up and Origi is still stagnated there. Can't believe the lad doesn't want a move. He is never pushing Bobby, Minamino, or even the next guy to break from the academy in the future. A clear misfit in a team that played some brilliant interchanging football yesterday.

I understand what Ed02 has said about the money situations but my gut feeling says we will sign at least one more player in this window and it must be a center back. Sales will be the key.
Spot on Irish. Owe you a pint mate :)

You need to write this to Mr. Klopp. Not sure why you are even addressing me. Klopp is keen on adding a center back and his first choice is Mr. Diego Carlos. why are you bringing others into it? Personally I too am with Klopp here wanting a center back.
Klopp thinks a backline of TAA, Carlos, VVD, and Robbo won't concede more than 25 goals.

Thiago is far more progressive to Xabi. He is very quick in releasing the ball but isn't someone who would be seen in the 6-yard box. Thiago is excellent against the press. Xabi's job was different. Xabi had an excellent reading of the game.
Thiago is an actual 8 with first-class passing and movement. Not sure who is closest but both Modric and Xavi are the closest.
