Ed001, in a scenario like this where there has seemingly been no issues with employers and colleagues, merely just looking for a change, being paid the wage he is, in my experience, you see out your notice. He has acted professionally thus far.
{Ed001's Note - I was not saying we should do so, just pointing out your comments are incorrect. It does not matter about professionalism etc, in many businesses anyone handing in notice in a position to effect the performance of the business significantly will not serve out a notice period, unless it is a notice with a view to retirement. Football is a different thing anyway, you can't really make comparisons as a player has no option but to join a potential competitor of some kind, whereas in a normal walk of life they often go to a totally different industry.}

Jayden23, if someone hands in their notice at work, do you tell them to go chill at home? no they work till their time is up. Can is getting paid so when he is needed he will play. I assume your more than happy with Coutinho playing whilst he is employed by the club even though his intentions are clear.
{Ed001's Note - it does depend on the job. If they are in a position to damage the company they work for, they are usually escorted straight off the premises to spend the notice period at home.}

if 3, you'd assume one would be lemar, so I'm not sure i buy this as french players are not allowed to leave their facility. Although id love to be wrong!

This comes from a french news outlet SFR, which is said to be relatively reliable, but they have also denied that a bid has even been made, contrary to Pearce and SSN.

Haha spot on dave, couldn't agree more, even voronin could have scored 11 last year in that team and in that league.
