Nobody here is defending Liverpool. But Chelsea shouldn't be excused either. In fact, saying that Chelsea were "misled", instead of holding them responsible for their part, would count as "blaming others"

Ed002 with all due respect, saying Chelsea were "misled" makes them sound like a bunch of teenagers. It would be naive to think they didn't know what was going on regardless of how it was misrepresented to them.
{Ed002's Note - That would be Manchester City who were misled as well. Keep defending the liars.}
