I really would prefer to not have investment from someone who has considered another team first or owns someone else. Shortsighted I know, but the passion has to be in all areas of the club, so if the owners are just looking for the next investment or bigger opportunities in football then that disconnect is distracting and harmful. We are not a club who manages uncertainty well.

According to reports today it’s the fitness coaches fault and he is why everyone has either left or is unhappy. Klopp has apparently hand both him and Pep a large amount of responsibility and they are not handling it well.

The more that is written, the more it sounds like a soap plot, which makes me think it is mostly unhappy Journo’s and a disgruntled tea boy making things up.

Probably the most exciting part of our season will be the battle of the mid table… Can Chelsea ‘buy’ their way out of trouble, compared to our can we ‘wait for targets’ our way out of trouble ;)

Talk about a battle of 2 extremes. All for the ‘both missed top 4 trophy’ ?.

The club will give snippets to people who speak to Journalists. The information will be what the club wants released. The club doesn’t always want its business known externally. The club sometimes needs space to work. Journalists will take what they are give and not moan too much if it turns out to be a different direction to how things turn out as it is swings and roundabouts.

Make of those statements want you will and how much you can trust ANY journalists transfer story, even the one who is ‘the clubs mouthpiece’ lol.

I’m not going to say Fab has been ‘poor’ but I have noticed in the last 2 seasons his levels and energy drop after about 3 straight games. If he gets a break he comes back well, but without the levels and energy stay lower.

If that is a fair assessment ( the data would be clear to see within the club ), then that would make things difficult as a replacement would be harsh, but 2 quality DM’s would be difficult to accommodate.

I too was calling for him to go, way before now, possibly longer than was reasonable (6 months into his reign). He quite clearly can not read a players strengths and has a clear mindset as to how he wants the game played. That is fine if you are Barcelona or Bayern Munich, who can recruit the right players at either a fraction of their worth or at an absolute premium (mostly dependant on whether they are domestic or overseas), but we can't, remember one of our darlings is a cast-off.

You adapt your style to the players you have or pray for a sugar daddy. The squad we have has real quality, if used correctly. Have back up strikers of Ings and Origi, with starters of Benteke & Sturridge only 2 teams in the Premiership might suggest they have a better selection, yet we don't score many goals. So we lack creativity? Seriously. Cout's, Firmino, Lallana. How many Managers in the top half of the table would sit think I wish I had that many choices. Next Midfield, Milner, Henderson, Lucas, Allan, Can All internationals, all have quality, not the best, but would all peak the interests of top sides at the right price. I've deliberately not mentioned Youth because they are just a absolute bonus, lower table teams would kill to have most in their 1st team squads.

Now the problem. The defence. What problem 2 x £20m centrebacks, plus 2x most experienced CB, plus 2x best young centreback talents. 2x £15m fullbacks and a once fit England fullback. GoalKeeper, excellent at Sunderland when expected to be a shotstopper, not sweeper.

Offer that squad to most Managers and they would lick their lips and would see CL as a minimum and get the player beleiving the same. Ours will be talking about building process and the project taking time by November.

If I was O'Driscoll, Macca etc I'd be getting very worried about my job about now.

As far as I'm concerned it's time our owners realised there is a football team to go along with their Business. If one is successful their precious business will make money. All they have to do is turn on the Telly and spend 90mins seeing why there £200m of investment is like it was invested in the Chinese stock market. Your Manager is clueless and misuses players and is as tactically aware as Bobby Gould.

2 week break, grow a set, take a gamble and see if a better Manager can take £200m worth of players and turn them into a team. Oh and for the apologists this isn't a reaction to one bad result, its a reaction to watching crap for 2 years, with 1 year of Saurez magic in between. Its o.k. beleiving in the Liverpool way and supporting regardless, but the Manager doesn't beleive in the Liverpool way (dirty linen in public, hanging staff and players out to dry, other laundary related sayings ), then why should the supporters be martyrs. And breathe, yoga time and a good single malt required.
