Is there a chance liverpool might sell Couthino this summer?

We have that many midfielders we could drown in them. Another would be a largely pointless exercise and mean the half dozen or so that Rodgers has signed were pointless and a total waste of money.

I disagree, we signed midfielders but all attacking mids eg. Llalana, Markovic etc. Illara is a true defensive/holding mid so a perfect replacement/backup for Lucas in a midfield 3, and he could make a perfect fit alongside Hendo in a midfield 2. I'd take him personally, even if we let go someone from midfield to make space (although not Coutinho, I'd sell Allen).
