I wonder if they might try Trent in midfield on the right of the 3. Ramsey could be a 2 birds one stone signing! Let’s not forget Trent was a central midfielder pushed to right back.

As Jurgen said, why would you play the best right back in the world in MF.
The no MF line from Joyce could be posturing to lower Sangares price . Going into next season with 3 fairly injury prone players in Hendo, Thiago and Fab would be a mistake, unless there is a forthcoming formation change on the cards.

Sly have said fee agreed now. Will be great to have some quality backup to Trent. I don't know a lot about it, would he cover for any other positions?

We never won any game against the top 6 and whilst we have a strong midfield, there will be injuries this season and times where our midfield was absolutely completely overrun. Buying a multi positioned player who can also cover for Fab and Hendo is a v good idea.
