Seen again today that city may be looking to offload Kalvin Phillips. Saw a lot of negative responses from a few weeks ago when his name was first discussed. Lazy/ bad character been thrown around a lot (mainly due to Pep weight comment) . However, he was fantastic under a high energy biesla system, and was comfortably the best midfielder on the pitch for 60 mins when we played them at Elland Road a couple of seasons ago. Also watched a leeds documentary where he came across really really well, and would be exactly the type of character needed in the dressing room. I'd take him in a heartbeat personally.

{Ed002's Note - Kalvin Phillips (DM) Do not rule out Manchester City letting Kalvin Phillips go as they have a replacement in mind to upgrade him. He has been offered around and Liverpool may well be keen. Aston Villa or West Ham may provide a wildcard option. The player will resist a move.}

Not mobile and quick enough for my liking compared to others we're linked with. Also seems to pick up his share of injuries. but I think he's a decent player.

I'd rather Thuram and Kone if they're still possible.

{Ed001's Note - he can't keep his weight in check, which shows there are issues there somewhere - whether it is a lack of professionalism, mental issues or just physical, it should immediately mean he is ruled out. Plus he is nowhere near good enough, and is just another in a long list of weird Pep signings that make no sense.}

Why would we want someone that pep wants rid of? Not good enough for him is not good enough for us.

Sorry, I find it mind-boggling that fans slate the squad for having too many injury-prone players YET some don't mind signing an overweight, perennially injured player who got fat-shamed by his own manager for being overweight to come join said squad with said injury-prone players in the squad. Yikes!
