I wasnt that fazed about going in half time 1-0 down. We were quite poor and fully deserved it but what Gerrard done 25 seconds into the 2nd half was completely inexcusable from a player with vast experience. In the moment the game was gone. With 11 on the pitch i was confident we would have easily got something out of the game. So disappointed in him.

Same here. I was not too worried at half time because I knew we would do better because we always do. Once SG got stupidly sent off, I knew we were in trouble. It was inexcusable and stupid as well as IMO, selfish. He is the leader of the club and to do that in such a critical game, was just criminal. Utd is good enough to beat you with eleven men and don't need to be helped by rash decisions. All in all, not a good day BUT I commend the team for showing character and fight and at ten men, showed it would had been a diff game had we had eleven. It's gone now and the battle is lost BUT the war is still on. We keep playing and prepare for other games because the season is defo NOT over.

Agreed but do not give SG too much criticism. Look at it from his point of view, LFC were awful in the first half and he was just itching to get on and have some influence and made a very rash decision. BR's tactics were all wrong and he should have changed the midfield for this game as we were overrun from the start with a glaring hole in the centre of midfield.
People have been posting of late just how good Allen is and that he's the man to play in the middle. The player is just not good enough and should be judged on his term at the club, not 3 or 4 games. He looked a boy amongst men today and the distribution is not good enough, it is always the same either in Europe or against a good team playing well. BR's faith in him is compromising the team. Gerrard and Lucas should have come in for Allen and Lallana as a change from the Swansea game, we would have seen a completely different game. My heart sank when I saw the starting lineup.
Moreno, Lallana, Allen, Mignolet (Markovic, Ballotelli, Lovren) are all letting the side down badly and ultimately BR is responsible for these signings and is too stubborn to drop some of them. It will be very hard for us to finish in the top 4, this will be very damaging now as we will struggle to keep certain players. We'll obviously wait till the end of the season, but I cannot believe that the owners are happy. I want the team to do well and finish in the top 4, I appreciate that Rogers will deserve to stay if he achieves that but I think it now very unlikely. Conversely, I am not looking forward to another overhaul in the Summer (management and players) followed by another inconsistent season.
Very disappointed, also going to be very sad to see SG leave the club
