Hi Eds and reds, this is a truly great site and long may it continue. Question to Ed02 if around - with the pan European breakaway being supported by 2 of the top teams, would FSG be very likely to sell the club knowing that we wouldn't be involved due to our current status?
I imagine they wouldn't risk such a huge loss if Liverpool were effectively not at the top tier in a new competition, which would attract staggering revenue.

{Ed002's Note - The breakaway is support by more than a dozen teams but only two want it to happen as soon as possible. Others are still looking about 10-12 years away. It has been suggested that 2022 might be a compromise. If the owners sold today they would lose money. If they sell in 2017 they will make money. If the club is being successful they will look to keep it longer. They will know that any future restructuring with the game could hit the club hard.}

Thanks for the prompt reply ed, I imagine it would be too great a business risk to keep Rodgers beyond this season with the need for success so pivotal in the owners strategy.
