Time to back Brendan and stop with all the negative comments. We have done really well in the window so far and I'm sure we are not finished yet. The coaching appointments show we are trying hard to get back where we belong. Lots of new young talent being brought in and with the stadium upgrade well on the way I for one am excited for the future. I think we will shock a fair few people with our success this season. Blushank is spot on. Come on lads, let's get behind the man now. If he fails, you will all get what you want and he won't be here next season, but no manager sets out to fail, and if he is taking credit for the changes (I've not seen the interview yet), then he deserves respect for accepting that he needs help. Help that his own coaching team couldn't provide. Let's back him for this season lads. No more negativity.

Blushank spot on mate really excited for the future of this team. I really think we can push on this season and aim for top 4 we def weren't too far away last season. With the addition on big bad benteke I think he will bring 20-25 goals
Next season. I've got a really really good feeling about this. The last good feeling I got I won 2 dollars on a 1 dollar scratchie. Come on LIVERPOOOL

Blushank, as of now BR has done nothing to warrant the stopping of negative comments. It is he himself who is to blame for the negative comments so only his actions can make a change. Of course everyone will be backing the club in each and every game but he has left a lot of questions hanging over himself. I'm not sure if this season is being seen as his 2nd or 3rd chance to make it work but its certainly his last. Its all up to him now.
And don't ever think that he accepts that he needs help when he refused the notion of appointing a defensive coach to help and instead he tried to tell us the defence is 'uncoachable'. Have you not noticed the size of the mans ego yet? Its hard to miss its almost as big as his nose.

Some people just like to whinge.

Lucky they don't have anything to whinge about.

Uncoachable are individual errors of which there were plenty. He got us to second mate with brilliant football we were everyone's second team and we went so close to winning the league something thought near impossible at the start of that year. Our squad is so young and many will improve dramatically from last year. Ego is a guy calling himself the special one. He is a young manager who has and will make mistakes but equally to blame are the players for some truly horrific displays. We need rid of some disruptive players and bring in ibe who I think could well light up the premier league. already he is better than sterling and with ings firmino fingers crossed a fit studge and benteke we can go close again.

Back, the point is that we need him to succeed now as he's the guy in the chair. You have every right to be negative about last season but that's in the past now. Any criticism should be based on how he performs this season and so far he's done nothing wrong.

Give him a chance to do something wrong before laying in to him again.

If they are individual errors why buy players that are that way inclined? Or does it suggest the way we played led to people making errors.
Dont say he got us to second and view that as an achievement we should have won the league but for the very ego I mentioned. He just thought he could go out and attack everyone but it failed miserably whereas we would certainly have won the league if he realised the need to change. And after getting us to second what did he do the following year? Where was the brilliant football?
He takes credit for everything that goes well and blames the players publicly when anything goes wrong. It is idiotic to compare him to Mourinho who consistently shows BR how things are won and how he should deflect attention from his players rather than heap it onto them.
If you think Rodgers ego is not his biggest problem you really need to pay more attention to the club.

muscatred don't get me wrong I want nothing more than to see Liverpool win. I don't care if its under BR or anybody else. But a lot of fans here are just so excited by the new season coming and the new signings that we are ignoring his shortcomings which have been a large part of our recent failures. You say so far he's done nothing wrong, I counter that with he has also done nothing right.

Well said blushank, people like back! Just like to moan about everything not being perfect! If we get into the top 4 next season you'll be eating your words if not then Brendan will be off anyway. So why not just support your team and manager?

12.) 06 Jul 2015
06 Jul 2015 13:04:14
You mean suarez got us second in the league. Made rodgers look like he knew what he was doing. Any other manager and we would have won the league

06 Jul 2015 13:14:43
Kennylfc have you even read my comments? If something is not right don't you think we should realise this rather than just blindly support the club and manager in everything they do even when its wrong? I won't be eating any words if we get top 4 I've never mentioned we wouldnt, in fact I said I want us to win. Your comment is pointless and has been disregarded. At least offer up an opinion rather than just blindly supporting everythig. Learn to think for yourself.

Back- ever since u have been on this site all u ever write is negative posts about liverpool. A ball hasn't even been kicked and your so negative. It's like u want liverpool to fail and brendan to get the sack lovely fan u are mate.
I hope we fly into top 4 Rodgers gets coach of the year I've young player of the year. And u are miserable the whole season waiting for us to fall.

Back! (trying to calm things down. )

He hasn't won any games yet you're right but on current evidence we've had a pretty good summer so far. Most people think the coaching appointments have been positive and I think most are happy with are transfers.

It could go horribly wrong still but at the moment the positive outweighs the negative.

17.) 06 Jul 2015

Back the biggest problem with our club is not his ego its fans like you who live in the past and think 2nd is no achievement in the hardest league in the world. Only 1 team can win that does not mean all else fail. Now there are 4 teams bigger/ richer / more pull than us makes it hard to attract the players we desire. Willian Salah Costa all of which went to Chelsea instead of us shows where we are in the pecking order. I think 2nd this year will do most of us nicely and we won't consider it or the guys failures .

Fish pellets did you miss the part where I said I wanted Liverpool to win regardless of who was in charge? Stop saying a ball hasn't even been kicked as if we should just forget everything that's happened before now. Why would I be miserable and waiting for us to fail. As a fan I want what's best for my club rather than to just blindly support everything that happens and never use my own brain to have my own opinions. But sure everything is great and nothing has ever gone wrong at our club. let's forget everything that has previously happened every summer that's a good way to learn from our mistakes.Everything you said you hope for I hope for too, but unlike you I remember what we looked like last year. Keep living in your bubble mate.
