So the Australian rumours presented here earlier were baseless appernatly. Same starting line up as in the EL - Firmino and Benteke only on the bench. Origi starts. Surprising, no? .

Maybe not surprising, but definitely disappointing. Nothing different than the side BR would have put out.

Oh come on Red.

This team is not set up anything like a Rodgers team.

Aside from how they are set up just look at what Sakho and Lucas can do when they feel loved. And look what Can can do in his favorites position.

The key now is how quickly we can unlearn the Rodgers one attacking ploy: tippy tappy through the middle trying to walk it into the net with one note of variety of an occasional Coutinho cut inside and shoot from distance.

I reckon we might see Benteke on for Origi at HT and then we will see what happens.

I am not rooting for BR. But one of the main criticism heaped on him was that he didn't give the youth a chance. I was hoping for a more exciting set up As for Sakho he has been a liability first half, but all the Skirtle haters on here will I suppose blame him instead. But hey ho let's hope for something better second half.

{Ed001's Note - how has he been a liability? Was he the one pulling attackers back by the shirt? Was he the one not talking to the totally asleep Clyne and warning him to wake up when people are running in behind him easily? You clearly are still up BR's backside and desperate for Klopp to fail.}

Come on boys. Let's close this out.

64 I've no idea what match you were watching. BR'S spent £300 million and the team went backwards. Klopp spen nothing and has miraculously gotten us clean sheets and points and playing an attacking brand of football. Ibe is coming on as a sub, rather than being asked to perform miracles for 90 minutes and being isloated on the wing, we're not playing 6 defensive players sitting deep.
We've looked a different team when Benteke and Firmino are on, Klopp can't help they have been injured and he's relied on a ''world class'' 20 year old according to BR, who still clearly looks unsettled but has a huge weight of expectation to deliver now. We've also seen Connor Randall called to the bench, jerome sinclair and Texeira.
The manager has also had to contend with the fact his time with the players has been limited due to the international break as well. He's probably had all of about 10 training sessions with the team so far.

Bob, I know I'll be dismissed as a Rodgers lover but so far, technically, Klopp is doing worse than Rodgers this season. A point per game versus 1.5 per game. It's a little too early to start suggesting Klopp's performing miracles.

Let's just give Klopp a little time to figure things out and stop chucking blame all over the place.

Got that's a very basic way of looking at it.
We stole victories vs Bournemouth and a terrible Villa.
If you can't see the improvement in the football then there's honestly none so blind as those who will not see. As I said, Klopps had about 2 weeks to work with the players without bringing any in. Brendan had 3 years and £300 million for 1.5 points a game propped up by some DOUR reffing and a edging past a shockingly bad Villa.

But that's not my point, you're using words like miraculous and then attacking Rodgers. It's all unnecessary.

Klopp will come good, give it time, I don't understand why everyone's so impatient.

It's not unnecessary at all. Brodge wasted 3 years at LFC and didn't walk, got a nice payoff have wasting £300million and went off to spain.
I;m not being impatient. Infact that's a contradiction of what you're accusing me of, I can already see the improvements Klopp's implemented with players at his disposal. The football we're playing is miles better, atleast fan's are getting their moneys worth for draws vs 2 difficult teams hitting form in Spurs and Southampton. Not wanting to slit their wrists watching us get 1-0 over Bournemouth asking the referee to not give offside.
