Sturridge?

Would/Are any clubs interested due to his constant injuries. I know we were, but at that time he wasn't always injured like now.

With him a knock that might not even sideline a player like Suarez (who rarely ever plays at 90%) would have Daniel out for 2-3weeks. He definitely lacks a mental hunger when it comes to knocks and niggling injuries.

But we don't have to sell him he just can't be the player we all pin our hopes on being injury prone as it makes us really weak when he isn't available.

I've constantly defended Sturridge, but now I'm done. Far, far, far too unreliable. Sell him for whatever we can get. What is the point of having a player on the payroll who will play 1/18th of games in a year?

Starting to fear losing sturridge may be the way even just for the payroll saving. He had an entire summer of treatment and recovery. Been injured twice since he was declared fit. Every time he's fighting to get fit he over compensates elsewhere and does something else. Feel sorry for the lad but can only see him getting worse as conditions worsen in the season and everyone is at a higher level of fitness than him.

Studge recently signed a new contract putting him around 7m a year, not many clubs can afford that, at the moment not clubs would want him at the price we would expect. If sold him at a reduced fee we would still need to offset some of his wages. So I think we stuck with Sturridge for real foreseeable future.

With Klopp, I have no fear about losing Sturridge. The guy is wholly unreliable anyways, but I'm confident Klopp could attract a world class striker to LFC-- an Aubameyang or someone in that mold-- so we don't have to rely on Sturridge so much from here on.
