Reading Phil thompsons article on Ryan shawcross snd I think he would be a good buy in the summer . Good leader, strong, physical and good in the air . Think because he's been at Stoke he's never had the plaudits I think he deserves .

Plus he barely plays 20 games a season. He'll fit right in!

Shawcross has played at least 32 out of 38 games each season for last five years.
36 twice
37 twice
32 once.

EMS, the lowest number of prem games he's played in a season was 28 which was 6 years ago, his injury record is not that bad at all, I thought it was bad last year but he appeared in 32 premier league games. Hardly a dreadful investment.

He's been a great but for Stoke. £1m for over 200 apps and pretty consistent.

could be a shrewd buy at right price.

It was only a joke lads. I know I exaggerated. He just always seems to have little niggles.

In all seriousness he just isn't good enough in my opinion. He's just a carbon copy of Skrtel. An apparent big man who is actually a bit of a pussy cat and fouls people way too much. Might as well just keep Skrtel as he's on 2 years older and Stoke would want a kings ransom.

He isn't better than what we have in my opinion, i think that's why he hasn't had a move to a big club. Average, he is at his level.

{Ed001's Note - and injured, again, which makes a change from injuring others I guess.}
