I know I'm a bit late on the scene but many people don't know this about the EU. In my area alone the EU has funded 2 railway stations 3 green spaces and a theatre. They do and work a lot harder than people think they do and for that reason I am very pro EU. Also in a time when we are all connected by trade, the Internet and the media why would we want to be disconnected from it? Disconnected from the single market?

That's all well and good but there are a serious amount of areas including mine severely affected by the EU, be it business, NHS, and yes immigration and that massive figure disputed even if it's half that it's too much for what state we are left.

Do we not get internet if we leave the EU? Seems a bit harsh, it will be like the dark ages again. This site will go to the wall!

People talk about the separation as if the market will no longer be available and we will be completely ostracised from trading with any EU countries. Its rubbish. Trade is a two-way relationship. Imports rely on this trade too.

In the short term things would likely stagnate and new trade terms would have to be negotiated but it no longer limits us from a global picture.

When you're young often you lodge with people. Usually your best friends. When you move out and go your separate ways does that mean you have to stop being friends? .

Think of the bigger picture. The biggest risk is the damage incurred in the transition period. The future is potentially very prosperous.

The EU had protected us from our own Government, secured worker's rights, cleaned up our beaches, cleaned our air, protected catastrophically damaged fish stocks, built infrastructure, secured jobs, forced our government to safeguard fair justice and helped give us peace in Europe for 70 years. Just check the leave lobby - Putin, Trump, Gove, Farage - they should be enough on their own to tell you which way to vote.
For our children's sake vote Remain.

There will be a huge hit to the economy in the short term, it's license for the Tories to totally destroy what's left of our public services.
The limits on immigration will takes years, possibly a decade to become effective meaning a mad dash for people to come here.
The short term would look very bleak if we Brexit IMO.
I think we need to stay and elect better leaders who will negotiate harder for us. Cameron couldn't negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag and Boris is a bumbling fool.

If we stay in the EU, Britain will eventually become a mere administration of a European Superstate.
For our children and grandchildrens sake. we have to LEAVE. or lose our Country forever .

{Ed033's Note - We have a political talk site for talking about the EU Brexit thing. This site is for talking about Liverpool FC.

Tsteen, u do realise all that money that was spent in your area is actually our money right?
We give about 20 billion a year to them (the eu) they give us about 10 billion back and tell us where and when we can spend our hard earned money, great that ye! And the remaining 10 billion (of our hard earned money) goes on funding things in other countries in the eu! Surely better to have the whole 20 billion to spend ourselves in our own country sorting out our own problems.
