Liverpool have a great chance for the title this year. If we can keep as many players fit as possible we have every chance. Our best signing this year was keeping all our top players. These guys are now another year or two older (good maths) and will have improved again. YNWA.

Naby Keita 8, you are correct the defence has been a problem. But the last year with this terrible defence, we finished 4 places higher beating Man U and Arse to Champs League place. This despite Man U spending obscene amount of money and Arsenal being the perennial champs league spot occupants.

Now, we have improved already in the squad and the team have grown over the past year. The experience of actually getting above those two teams for the 4th spot will help enormously.

Team spirit means a lot.

Don't smoke mate. If you think making wholesale changes year after year is the way to go then you're dillusional. Man City may look good on paper and may go and have a great season but who knows, nobody knows. What you do know with Liverpool are the guys that played last season in the first part of the season were great. We had defensive and goalkeeping problems but more importantly big injuries to key players. These guys look fit, sharp and playing with smiles on there faces. We've added some great acquisitions which will boost the team some more. Yes! I believe we could be strong contenders.

We are definitely contenders, don't doubt that. Top 4 is eminently achievable, the title a bigger challenge, but as much psychologically as practically. Its been so long now, are there even back room staff who were there the last time we won it? I don't know, but its hard ( though not impossible) to envisage something you've not experienced.

That said in terms of the squad, all I worry about is CB's, like lovern, love matip ( and what a piece of business that was) after that meh. and that's a worry. But I believe in Klopp and believe he'll improve before the window closes.

We are a mile off being contenders especially with European football this year. I thought we would have done better last season and let's face it we nearly made a balls of it getting fourth. More games brings more Injuries unless we are lucky, and our injury record has been brutal. We haven't got the like for like replacements to be contenders.
