Vvd would be a great signing but personally there's to much damage done with Southampton I wouldn't deal with them again as for couthino he stays for another year simple as club should stand firm and say no reguardless we couldn't get kieta or vvd as clubs don't want to sell well Liverpool don't want to sell couthino also the belittling of Liverpool is getting old liverpool is a fantastic club with massive support we stand together YNWA.

Surely it should be Southampton who shouldn't deal with us since they're the injured party, not the other way round?
I agree we should support our club and all stand together, but that does not mean I have to condone the actions of certain people within our club that have made us look foolish and unprofessional.

I think we need to get over this Southampton have received some serious cash from Liverpool over the last few years yes the tapping up was wrong and there was a proper channel to achieve these things but we move on and protect what we have i. e. Couthino stays at all costs and liverpool and Southampton to do no more business with each other for a long time let's move on from this.

If we are still interested we need to wait to see how Southampton deal with the transfer request (still hasn't been accepted) and if it has been accepted then we need to talk directly to Soton and ask if they are willing to deal with us.

Don't make them an offer or talk to VVD or anything just ascertain whether they are willing to deal with us. If they say yes, ask them how much they want and simply either pay it or say that we don't think he's worth that much and move on.

No haggling, no messing around, just speak directly to the club that we have wronged and ask for their permission, like we should've done all along.

We should do all we can as a club to build bridges with Southampton to try and repair the damage we have caused. This would go a long way towards us being run professionally again and dragging the club out of the gutter.
