Liverpool fans are nuts. 3 days ago we are on for the title. Fast forward 72 hours and Arsenal have a bid accepted for Lemar, casting us into a relegation battle.

Agreed, MK. £92m is a ridiculous fee, imo. I know we shouldn't get wrapped up in the money, but c'mon.

It's not about lemar per se, it's about the fact that we went for OX instead of lemar that funded arsenal to get a much better player, coutinho is effectively gone and OX brought in as some sort of replacement which just strikes me of the Suarez for balotelli fiasco, and most of all no top quality defensive reinforcements so we have to rely on lovren at the back. Yes the overreactions are stupid, but no one should really be happy with that window. So far anyway.

Got to be honest, yes Lemar looks a talented lad, but we mustn't forget this is France which is a terrible league where even Balotelli is made to look like a baller. let's not forget that Martial looked a talented lad and in all honesty he's been very disappointing for the fee Utd paid and could eventually end up paying.

Kma92, Lemar only just came on the scene recently after Klopp decided to get rid of Cou after initially stating to the owners that he did not wanna sell him and the owners backed him completely (this is Ed01 talking) . Klopp also said that if he could not get VVD, he would keep what we have. Like it or not, that is the way it is and I think it is good that way cos Saints won't sell frankly, if they did, our issues defensively will not be fixed by one CB. A lot more needs to be done there and if we can't get him, we move on. Either way, we are much better than we were last season both in depth, points taken, clean sheets and goals scored. On to City.
