Everybody knows Vardy goes down the middle? Do they? Vardy has scored 7 penalties and yesterday was his second miss, so clearly not everybody and there were some good keepers in there too. Give our keeper a bit of credit at least. I think we all know he isn't top notch but who is to say Karius or Ward would have saved it?

I would be a lot more confident that Karius or Ward wouldn't have come for a ball in their box with their feet, or would've been more alert and got there first.

Mignolet should get no credit for saving the penalty because it was his terrible mistake that gave it away.

Praising Migs for saving the penalty is like praising your drunk friend for cleaning up his own vomit from your kitchen floor. He still puked on your floor. Get better friends.
