I haven’t really watched VVD this season. Is this how he’s been start of the season.
He doesn’t look arsed. I could be wrong, but that’s the impression.
If so, is he the right person we should be buying, we hate what Couts is doing to us, but condone it from another player who wants to join us¿

I could be completely wrong. But I thought I’d ask. Don’t want to argue with anyone.

I think it's a good point kopette. I've hardly seen him play this season to answer the question though.

I don’t think Van Dijk did anything wrong today, in fact I think he saved Southampton a couple of times, I’d take him in a heartbeat.

{Ed0333's Note - I’d have De Vrij over VVD any day of the week.

Yeah think people are being a bit harsh on vvd. I thought he did well today and would take him in Jan. Able to play in champions league too which is a big plus. Would love to see Gomez and vvd at the back from Jan onwards.

He had a good game, I’d have VVD.
I didn’t see any faults in his play either, it was just his expressions and body movement. If that’s just who he is then I just hope we go for him because he’ll improve us so much.
But if his behaviors today was because he didn’t want to play for saints, then that’s not cool.

Appreciate Ed. I’ve actually been trying to bring calm to my life recently, I’m glad you picked that zen up and not reading this site for a few weeks helps as well 😂
