My head tells me I'm happy with Roma. But my heart tells me real would of been better over two legs weirdly.

I think this is why.

Bayern seen to be great all rounders. Pretty good at everything, strong mentally as well.

Roma, are the lad at the pub who's quite handy. Lots of heart and spirit, tails up now they knocked the big boys out.

Real, the show pony. No one denying their ability, but I sense if we put them three nil down like we did city, the second leg would be a red card fest.

No such thing as an easy tie. I reckon the real Munich games will be boring until end of second leg.
Us vs Roma could end up being a very exhilarating match up.

Surely you’d want to avoid a red card fest leading up to a final lol? That just sounds like suspensions and injuries to me, im not sure about you. Realistically we got the best possible opponent for the semis and everyone knows it deep down. The draw wasn’t perfect as we definitely would have wanted to be at home second leg but we should have enough to beat Roma. That said I believe it will be a very close game and decided in extra time or pens.

By red card fest, I meant them losing the plot. Not us. But granted, I didn't really think the injury thing through lol.

I think that's what I'm saying, is Roma on paper is the best tie we could of hoped for?

Defence can't be that bad, their in the semis.

Salah: Boateng, Hummels and Kimmich and a fit Alaba not good? I don't know about you but i think that is a rock solid defence.

Id liked us to get Bayern but roma will do as well.

{Ed001's Note - Hummels? He can't defend, great on the ball but defensively awful. Alaba is a great wing back, but again suspect defensively. I have never understood the fuss about Boateng, he is clumsy and error prone when under pressure. Kimmich is good but he can't do it all alone. They are weak defensively.}

Did anyone watch Bayern against Sevilla? The Spanish side cut through their back 4 time and time again in the first leg. I think Bayern have a very iffy defence and your lot would score a hat full. They would have been the best draw for you imo.

Crammie, on fifa/ fm they may be incredible, in real life they aren't. I'd agree with you Ed1 regarding Kimmich he is probably their best defender but I've seen him play some shockers at times as well but that's because as you correctly say, he can't do it all alone. Boateng is useless, he never looks like he belongs where he's meant to be it's odd, he just doesn't do anything for me.

When I think of these defenders I imagine our front 3 against them, would they stand a chance against Firmino, Salah and Mane? no chance, especially Hummels and Boateng, they'd get their arses handed to them. I wanted them in the semis because I'm just confident we'd of smashed them all over but beggars can't be choosers, let's do it to Roma instead :)
