hi guys, first time poster. Just want to say how wonderful it has been watching liverpool for the last 45 years, From the day Toshack was signed i became a Liverpool follower and boy what a ride i was taken on. The last 12 months has brought back so many happy memories of glorious European nights and at the lowest poijt in my life and a work placed fall that has left me a tetraplegic, I can honestly say that the best therapy I could have received was the resurgence of Liverpool in Europe. It has been a welcome distraction from the challenges I face and the football has has been breath taking. The characters on these pages, the banter, the knowledge, the editors, even the detractors make this my go to page when I get up and before I go to bed. I just cannot thank you enough for the time you put in editors, now all I ask for is a breath taking finish to the season. Come on Liverpool, I know you can do this!

Keep your chin up, life deals you $h! t hands sometimes, but be strong and know you'll always have support on here. My dad had a severe accident when he was a teenager, lost his legs and one arm, and he's my hero because he's tried to live his life as fully as he can, and he's the best grandad my kids could wish for, so just try to be the best Mike you can be and that's all that matters.

It’s scenarios like the one described above why I love football. Those who don’t, or don’t understand see it as tribalism and hooliganism were as in reality it creates a family and something so simple that can make even the loneliest person feel welcome. Football isn’t perfect and he it’s issues but it does touch so many peoples lives and I’d gladly argue the positives far outweigh the negatives. Stay strong mike and welcome aboard!
