Ed001 With the VVD injury what is the best case scenario for an injury like that needing surgery. Got to feel positive in circumstances like this ed.

It’s a huge loss, I think matip and Gomez are going to struggle without VVDs physicality and leadership.

Personally I hope we ask Fabinho to step into LCB as he is probably now the best defender we have. I think he will be a more consistent option than relying on Gomez/ Matip partnership for rest of the season, and a midfield of Thiago, Hendo and Gini would still be strong enough to win this league.
