Well done on Jordan for getting 2nd in SPOTY but it my opinion he deserved to win with him being a much better person then Hamilton.

No doubting Hamilton is an unbelievable sportsman but as you say I think that's where it finishes. To be honest and I know it wasnt up. for vote I woildve liked to have seen Kevin Sinfield win something. Unbelievable man.

I struggle with Hamilton. He is in the best car by far and he only needs to beat his team mate. No doubt he is one of the best drivers but if Verstappen was in the same car I'm not sure who'd win.

On top of that, the guy is the biggest hypocritic there is. Bought his own jet a few years ago, flies round the world and burns fossil fuel for a living but wants to do his bit for the environment.
He pays minimum tax in this country but talks about being knighted.

Because of the above, I only want him to win races because he is British. When George Russell was driving in the Merc I had a real buzz about him because he is everything Hamilton isn't.

Hendo is a much more likeable person and a proper leader.

It’s on sporting achievements alone and for that reason it had to be Hamilton. What he’s done I’m F1 will some beating.

You only see and hear what the media want you to, Hamilton is a much better person than being portrayed.

He has pushed key issues globally with his position, a similar thing to which Rashford has done in the Uk and gets praised for it yet Hamilton gets derided for doing the same.

And the tax thing is laughable, he pays more tax than 99% of the population plus tax in many other countries yet people reel out these silly tax dodger sweeping statements that are actually baseless.

We should all just give him the applause he deserves, he has earnt it.

No after the click bait headlines he was shown to of paid what he should of, if you actually bothered to research before becoming a another keyboard warrior you’d see this is exactly what I meant, media dictate and spin peoples opinions and the sheep are led.

I’m not a massive fan of Hamilton’s personal choices but I fail to see how anyone can claim he’s a bad person without knowing him, ridiculous statements and silly OP.
I’m a big fan of Henderson’s btw, but I also don’t have a clue what he’s like as a person so reframe from making clueless keyboard warrior claims.

Jonathan Rea deserved it more than Lewis - he has done pretty much what Lewis has done but on a motorbike without all the advanced safety features. One bad mistake on a bike and potentially you don't get a second chance. It's proper racing rather than the race to the first corner and then procession F1 has become.
