Long story short, I'd like the FA to take action particularly against Fernandes and his actions. he is making a mockery of this sport that we love.

Did anyone notice how Rashford clipped himself to get Fabinho a card, and the resulting free kick Casemiro put in the net, albeit being offside it would have been had to take that one.

OP back in the day, if you as much as touched a ref you would get carded and if you did what Bruno did to the lino after yelling at him and tapping him on the back maliciously, he would get sent off BUT Howard Webb is in charge so I guess NOTHING will happen.

Also, I have NO idea how Luke Shaw finished that game, really. He should have been sent off for yellow card accumulation, as well. Again, Webbo is in charge of the refs now so I guess we can move on.

Oli, yesterday had nothing to do with Howard Webb. The levels of officiating have dropped massivley and way before he was back on the scene.

The lino was in front of salah being palmed off and didn't see it as a foul (never a red though) . And that is just one example of them making a few baffling calls yesterday.

Regarding Luke Shaw, you will very rarely get a second yellow for accumulation of fouls. First booking often but second yellow tends to be a bad tackle or a tactical foul.

However, Bruno (or anyone) pushing an official has to have some sort of punishment, otherwise it will happen again. Some will say it is just a push, but it is a lack of respect and it needs stamping out. Imagine that in Rugby? In fact, in any other sport, there would be consequences.

Speaking of Bruno, he obviously got a lot of stick (deservedly) from a lot of angles. But his biggest mistake was avoiding certain contact to get a pen when Ali slipped. If that was a Liverpool player I'd be livid as 3-1 is a different game. His dive got Ali off the hook yesterday.

WYred, The Howard Webb stuff is just tongue in cheek so you can ignore that. Now back to the actual stuff that happened. Bruno should have been sent off for not only talking crap to the ref BUT also shoving him. Paulo DiCanio got a 10 game ban for ONLY shoving a ref in the mid 90's so there is your proof and we know that is/ used to be a thing.

Maybe that is no longer a rule BUT this one used to be a rule so if they refuse to enforce it if it is still a rule then, that is incompetence and yeah, I agree it will keep happening.

Luke Shaw should have been booked in the first half for all his accumulated fouls on Salah and for him trying to knee Darwin while on the floor to get him to react and get him sent off. When you have Utd fans on SM after the game saying Bruno and Shaw should have been sent of then you know something went definitely wrong. Just saying.

Darwin was just as lucky he missed with his roundhouse sweep after Shaw tried to knee him. Sensible reffing to let that one go.

IDreamOfGin, Darwin barely grazed his legs and even at that, that does not stop Shaw from being booked and sent off for all he had done all game. The whataboutism is embarrassing.
